Kate and her staff were so amazing helping our daughter plan her wedding.They certainly brought our daughters vision to life. The flowers, greenery , candles and all the clear glass bowls, vases and candle holders were exquisite. We are beyond thrilled how everything looked when we arrived!

We first met with Kate and enjoyed the vision that she discussed. Starting with the positives – the bridal bouquet and bridesmaids bouquets were gorgeous. They were exactly what we wanted. The flowers up the aisle, that got repurposed in front of the suite heart table were also very pretty. We loved the arch - it came out perfect. For what we paid for the center pieces, we were upset with how little some were. We had three different centerpieces varied throughout the room. The large ones were pretty. The smaller ones were really small, which was not what we discussed or envisioned. Kate ended up having to go back to the shop to get more flowers, because my mom luckily checked in the ballroom earlier in the day to see what they looked liked. The boutonnieres were quite small. The venue somehow had some that we used for the father of the bride, father of the groom and the groom, because they were that small. We also struggled a bit with Kate’s organization. Overall, the flowers looked pretty, but we weren’t thrilled with some aspects.

Kate did a beautiful job on my wedding florals. We had to call an audible due to Covid but Kate was very flexible and accommodating. My bouquet came out EXACTLY like I hoped as did my bridesmaids' flowers and the overall décor. You won't regret going with Katydid.

POOR SERVICE. Drove all the way to spring lake nj from nyc on a Saturday to have a face to face meeting to discuss design and create an initial proposal. Meeting was great and we were promised an initial proposal in 1-2weeks which was fine since we have time before our wedding date. 3 weeks go by without anything so we sent a follow up email just to check in and ask when to expect an initial proposal or see if she needed any other info from us. We were told to give her another week which was also fine with us. Fast forward four additional weeks later, no response, no initial proposal....nothing. Complete silence. We appreciate if she can no longer do or wedding date Or didn’t want to do it but to completely waste our time driving an hour and 30 mins and then an hour meeting to not even have the curtesy to follow up is poor customer service. We have seen three other florist since who all have provided a proposal within a weeks time.

My friend sent me flowers, they were stunning!!! They arrived on Friday but were dead by Sunday. Never have I seen flowers die so fast from a florist. Makes me sad because I’m sure my friend spent a lot and I thought we found a new florist. I tried calling, left a message but didn’t get a return call.

Before leaving a review I want to agree with everyone in saying Katydid's flowers are stunning. I had the most beautiful bouquet of all time and my arrangements were equally as pretty. However, as a bride you want to be completely confident when booking your vendors that they have your best interest at heart. When our reception ended and our guests and family were wishing my husband and I goodbye (downstairs, outside) ALL of our flowers were loaded in a van and taken WITHOUT MENTION. After paying a few thousand dollars for floral arrangements, my parents returned home with only my bouquet. Upon reaching out with my concern after returning from my honeymoon and finding out, I was told "we should have told them before the wedding we wanted the flowers." I couldn't disagree more- We paid for each flower with cash. These were our flowers. Therefore, we should have been ASKED while planning what we wanted done with our flowers after the reception ended, before this even became an issue. An honest company would have forewarned us BEFORE the wedding that in 20 minutes time, after guests left the ballroom, all flowers would be taken away. Those who have had wedding before know the hustle and bustle of wishing the bride and groom off. Had they known, my parents would have been prepared to ask for their flowers. Instead they returned to a flowerless ballroom and they held brunch the next day in our home without a single arrangement...except my bouquet. So sad and disheartening.

From the moment I walked into Katy’s shop, I knew she was going to provide our flowers. She was so kind, creative, and intelligent. I trusted her opinions and suggestions. She took our preferences and vision and truly made it come to life. She suggested things I never even thought of! You will not be disappointed with Katy and her team! My flowers were absolutely stunning and I am still receiving compliments about how beautiful they were!

I was thrilled with the work Katydid did for my wedding. When I met Kate at her shop, I could see some of the other stuff she was working on and immediately felt confident in her abilities. From there, we communicated mostly through emails. She was flexible with me on price when one item turned out more than I expected and she sent me the names of all the flowers she was using in advance to make sure that I knew exactly what I was getting. I don't have much of an "eye" for this kind of thing so even though I was kept in the loop on what the arrangements would look like, I was STUNNED when they arrived. The bouquets were extremely beautiful and exactly what I had been describing to her. Kate really has a talent to take a few of my words and pictures and be able to understand my vision and make it come to life. The girls could not stop commenting on how spectacular their flowers were. It was just the perfect look... the most beautiful flowers. I have full confidence in recommending Katydid to any bride!!

Our wedding flowers were everything we wanted them to be, and more! Katydid made the bouquets and grooms boutonniere for our wedding and they turned out even more beautiful than expected! I gave Kate and the girls pretty specific directions on what I wanted/ didn't want along with some inspiration pictures, and they made sure to meet all my requirements. Lovely staff, beautiful store, and the best experience!
