There is no question about it: Precision is the status quo for a quality and consistent mechanic shop for Subaru & JDM vehicles.
This is a shop that you MUST visit if you are a Subaru enthusiast in the Northeast. Rich, Melo and their whole staff will go to extraordinary lengths to not only keep you informed, but to ensure that your car is running the exact way it should, paired with correctly fitting parts and correctly performed maintenance. You really get the sense that they care about your car as much as you do, and it speaks in the quality of the work.
For my last service, the 3rd or 4th time I’ve been to Precision, Rich kept me in the loop every step of the way, from the initial reservation, to important information that I might’ve needed to know while my car was in the shop, to the completion of the work I needed - and was happy to answer any questions I might’ve had along the way, big or small.
When I asked Rich if I could tip him, he declined and said “This is what we do. Over 20 years, our job is to treat you like family.”
I’ll always bring my Subie to Precision for as long as I live within a 12-hour drive of them. They are a true testament to honesty and integrity in the automotive space. Thanks guys!

I contacted the shop to inquire about some information on an issue I am having with my car and called and asked for some guidance. Whoever I spoke to (I forgot to get a name) spent 10 minutes answering all of my questions in great detail and was not trying to push me off since I was not necessarily calling for paid services. This was extremely professional and very informative and if/when I need any performance work I will definitely inquire about going to them for future repairs. I don’t live local but am thoroughly impressed with how informative and detailed he was in explaining how to attack my issues. Thank you to whoever you are. You helped me better understand my possible issues.

I brought my 2011 WRX to Precision to get diagnosed for a misfire. They were extremely communicative and always had their questions answered before assuming. Great shop and will be coming back.

Refused to dyno a non-Subaru car. Not a tune, just a dyno. Was turned down by the owner with "we only work with Subarus".
Replying to the owner: I wish you would have mentioned that you were simply busy. Instead the only thing you said is that you do not work on anything but Subarus.

I went there on 8/2 I had decent experience over-all. bit pricey on certain thing, but we are paying for there expertise it cost money to play. I would liked to face to face experience since I spend decent amount of money. owning a Subaru isn't cheap and if you come here better to have some deep pockets.
