Place was amazing we renting the outdoor for a shower . Everyone was extremely accommodating and friendly it did end up raining out our event but they easily moved us into the inside hall. I will absolutely be hosting many more events here . Thank you for your services

Very nice outdoor entertaining area. Full barbecue, full gazebo, beautiful lake and fountain scenery, cannot be beat for the price and perfectly located.

Elaine and the staff at the American Legion were fabulous! I hosted a 60th birthday party here a few weeks ago. The space is great! Not only did it include the tables and chairs but the sterno racks, coffee pots, ice, a warming oven and refrigerator. I ran a tab at the bar which made my life easier and gave my guests several drink options including Sangria! Everything was perfect! I highly recommend hosting your next event here!

The new hall chairperson, Elaine, is great to work with! From start to finish, the process was smooth. The bartenders and friendly and welcoming! I will definitely be booking more events here!

This past Sunday, my family booked the American Legion for our granddaughter's birthday party. It actually was the second time in the past two years that we booked it. I can't begin to tell you how wonderful and helpful they all were at the lodge. From start to finish someone was outside checking on us to make sure we were OK. Elaine, who was the front person was everything you could ask for in a hostess. I've been coming on and off to the American Legion for 35 years and I've been selling flowers in the front for Easter and Mother's Day for just as long. Everyone there has always made my family, guests and I feel welcomed. With the added improvements this year the outside was absolutely beautiful overlooking the lake. It's an ideal place for any special occasion in your life. I only wish more people would take the time to investigate how wonderful this location really is again many thanks to all and God bless America.

Had my baby shower here and we had a nice experience. They were easy to talk to and very accommodating. They have indoor/outdoor space (both spacious) as well as bar. We utilized the indoor space as it was still cold when we had the event in March. They are located by the lake - view is nice. Happy client, will recommend this venue for your next event!

I threw my daughters first birthday party here. VERY FRIENDLY staff.Bartenders were extremely nice and understanding. The lady I booked with was super sweet and understanding. Everything was perfect. I couldn’t have picked a better place. Will definitely book here again. :)

Post 253 is AMAZING!! They promote many exceptional events that raise money for our local veterans. They value all diversity and embrace equality. By renting they hall you are giving back. The member volunteers are helpful, kind and respectful. I recommend having your next event here at Spotswood American Legion!
