03/15/24Made a special trip to get there before they closed. Made it with 10 minutes to spare. Had a package all packed up and ready to go. Just need to pay and label. Staff shook their heads "We close at 4. That's all shut down already"But... it's not 4:00.No apologies and instead a tone of annoyance like I am somehow in the wrong for expecting them to be able to provide service during posted store hours.You know what? If you want to close earlier, that's fine. But don't tell people you are open. If services stop at 3:45, then you are open until 3:45. Life is busy. Don't mess with people's time.Should have noted the 3.4 rating ahead of time!

I’m always going to the UPS store located in Sparta but this time was a great experience that I needed to send a review Michael Livell and Steven Haneveld were helping me and they were awesome very professional explained why some of my items needed packing very helpful and got me out fast I like that good customer service all around Thank you guys for making my morningSaundrea Jenkins

I usually have no issues with UPS. I contacted another UPS store requesting shipping to a military base in the US and was told they didn't ship to Military bases. I contacted Ryan in Sparta UPS, was told no problems. We walked in with 5 large boxes to be shipped. Steven Haneveld greeted us immediately. A few people ahead of us, but were taken care of with other employees. Everyone in there was pleasant and kind. Explained all our shipping options with packing and pricing. Took our personal items to be shipped with extreme care. I am very impressed with the service in this store. Any services we need in the future we will be going back. Thank you to everyone in Sparta.

Wow! Talk about horrible customer service! Try to avoid Mary when using ups services. Not once , but twice she has been beyond rude and disrespectful. If it wasn’t for the convenience I would not use this ups store. I actually would give this review a zero because of her but that wasn’t an option.

Wasn't open at 8am. Workers didn't show up until after 8am and had the audacity to say to those of us waiting outside it would be a few more minutes and slammed the door in our faces. Don't waste your time here, drive to Oak Ridge for better and timely service.

Please do yourselves a favor and don't get ripped off here. Got a quote online then I went to the store. The shipping price doubled. He said well we're a franchise. Then whats the point of ups quotes. This store is super expensive. CREATE & PRINT YOUR SHIPPING LABEL. Whatever you do don't use their shipping services. They're dishonest...they added a $25 "packing fee" because he asked if I wanted bubble wrap. I immediately took it off. Never again will I go here.

GO SOMEWHERE ELSEI initially went online (ups) to generate a quick quote. I'm sending three small pieces of dive equipment to Mexico. Online with everything added..Insurance for my goods value-$1000, signature, delivery LESS than a week, was $218 for the fastest. So my mom goes there, her and I speak to Mike the Asst. Mgr to complete the SAME deal/quote and is quoted $218 for 2 weeks, not one, $400 and change for less than a week or $500 for guarenteed end of week (4 days). I start asking how that's possible. The employee stated they're a franchise and also $25 packing fee!!..I'm like for What? For putting in some bubble wrap? Took it off. And my mother who's just had surgery was like let's just pay it and get it over and done. She pays $510!! Mind you my goods are $1000. I call back and ask how this is possible and then same staff member informs me nonchalantly "well if you would have printed the ticket you could have got it for $218", "and we're a franchise." So I asked -so because you're a franchise you more than double what's on the website. Then you mention this after I've already paid $300 too much? Lesson create and print your labels. They'll take you to the cleaners. Will never use them again. I will tell everyone in a ten mile radius to GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.

This is a super busy UPS location as it is the only one within miles. On January 31, the last day for Amazon holiday returns, it was extra busy as I expected. The staff there was pleasant, professional, and kept the line moving! Thank you!

Gina is rude EVERY time I have to ship something. She is mean, and people who are miserable should not work in customer service. Who is the manager letting her keep her job??

Awful!! If you can avoid going to this location you should . I can’t since it’s the closest one for miles. They are ALWAYS busy and never staffed appropriately. This has happened numerous times but I just went and there was a line out the door and the one guy went on break clearly seeing 8+ people waiting. how’s that even allowed manager wise unless staffed? and then he left the one lady by herself. There were other employees on the other side of the wall too you can hear them talking and no one cared to see if there was a line or ask her if she needed help. people can’t be waiting 20+ min when they have their package already to go. I didn’t need anything but for it to be scanned. This place doesn’t have any sense of urgency or care. Avoid this location if you can! UPS: at least leave a spot for a drop off for people that took the time to package their stuff and have only time to run in and out. especially this location that is always busy because it’s necessary
