“I cannot rave enough about VHD’s newest service. My husband and I are expecting our first baby in just a few weeks and we had no idea where to start with the nursery. I just knew I didn’t want the stereotypical pink lacy things in our daughters room. I received a Full Design Consultation and spent a lot of time working with Karla on making this vague direction take shape into a cohesive theme. The whole process, from start to finish, was intentional, done with care, and attention to detail, and tailored toward our style. Karla took time ask me questions about what I liked and what I envisioned, she did a lot of research, and was able to offer me a ton of options in the form of Amazon listings and more. Together we went through the things I liked and the things I didn’t love so much and refined the theme from there.Then, my favorite part of all of it, was the MOOD BOARD! This allowed me to see how it would all look together and took away all of the guess work. I’m so excited to put our baby’s room together, we just painted the walls, the crib has arrived, as well as some of the decor items we picked out using the VHD mood board as our North Star, and we just need to put it all together!Overall the experience was extremely positive. Karla and Amanda were able to take someone who has very little design aptitude, and make her confident in decorating her daughter’s room. I’ll definitely be using this service again in the future! “Today, I made my third visit to Lynn's Home & Decor at The Shoppes at Lafayette. This outdoor mall is a fun place to find interesting items that you won't find in your typical strip mall. And this is particularly true of Lynn's. What attracted me the first time was seeing the spinning globes on display in the window. These decorative items suitable for a table, desk or shelf were unlike anything I'd seen before. Without a visible power source they appeared to rotate indefinitely as if propelled by some perpetual motion machine. In fact, the globes are actually powered by light, and they are fascinating to watch. But as intriguing as these were, they were not the reason I returned to this store. My return visits were prompted by Lynn herself. This is a lady who truly loves what she does and loves the customers she services. A visit to Lynn's is like stopping by to visit an old friend. You'll end up swapping stories about what is going on in your lives and while away several pleasant minutes in conversation. And even if you leave the shop without a purchase, you will think it was time well spent. Of course Lynn will be happier if you do buy some of the several unique and wonderful items available. But I suspect that she won't be all that disappointed if you don't. This is a lady who is in the people business first and the retail business a distant second. If you're anywhere near Lafayette, New Jersey, stop in for a healthy dose of good old country charm. I promise you won't regret it. I know I'll be back!”

“If you're a fan of Scranberry Co-op, you'll like this place too. It's a few minutes out of the town of Lafayette, NJ.Both Barb's and Scranberry are multi dealer antique and collectable shops. Barb's has the first couple of rooms for their own, new items. It's brighter and more pleasant looking than Scranberry. There appear to be less antique items in Barb's, but it's still worth the drive.”

Stock is changed regularly so you'll always find new items. The owners are really nice people who take the time to get to know their customers.”

“I had a very short window to get furniture for my mother to move into assisted living. I called and spoke with AnnaMarie and gave her all of the details. She told me to come into the store the next day and she showed me my options. She was patient and went over the floor plan with me on the computer. She gave me a range of options and prices and my mom got her furniture quickly as promised! She was so helpful and understanding of my need for speedy delivery and affordability. The father-daughter team of Jack and Wendy at Cornwall Clocks has a passion for excellence. But, aside from their expertise, their best skill is , perhaps, their dedication to exemplary customer service.Jack, an expert click craftsman, took the time to explain the history of our 1880s mantle clock, give a good and fair estimate of what it needed, and didn't pressure us in making a decision whether or not to proceed.Wendy happily completed our order and went out of her way to ensure our satisfaction.I highly recommend them for antique clock repairs. Their selection of new clocks for sale is also admirable. You've got to stop in!”

“This is my go-to store! I love anything mystical or cultural, and am obsessed with the practices of the East, so this store was perfect for me!From dragon statues to Egyptian pyramid displays, to even little brass Hindu god statues and Buddha incense burners, this shop has everything and truly binds the East with the West! I love all the incense this shop has to offer, as well as little magical spell bottles or figurines. I've already bought a few things already, from hand-crafted Indian perfume bottles to amethyst necklaces and anything in between (don't forget the dragon statues!)This store is always stocked with all your witchy needs, and the staff is super calm and helpful, and they don't constantly egg you on to buy anything either.I love all the exotic Eastern brands this shop has to offer, such as the brand, "Song of India" or, "Auric Blends". It helps me find newer Eastern stores to take a gander at online! Currently in a hankering for buying a Turkish lamp or two! ;)Overall, this store is a MUST-GO if you are at the Rockaway mall, or just genuinely curious to go to a little exotic store around the corner. “Store was great ,jack was great ,manager was great .Customer care sucks ! I made a claim about my ottoman being saggy and not happy with it 2 weeks later . They sent tech that told me nothing is wrong and you can't sit on it ,so that's my problem. Yet it says great for extra seating!!!”
