U-Pack was easy to deal with, convenient with timing and options, and very reasonable with cost. The container sizes were as advertised, so packing went smoothly. Thanks for helping with the move!

What a great experience. This company is first class in communication and execution. Moved a container from NJ to Ft Myers Florida. Cube was delivered within 7 days to Florida. Price was 1/3 less then the big brand competitor. Would HIGHLY recommend!!

We moved from South Jersey to South Carolina, three cubes, storage for three months, then delivery. Our U-pack experience was a pleasure from start to finish! Everything was explained clearly so we had absolutely no surprises. Easy order, on time delivery, and we got "a day of grace" to pack up because it poured rain on one day. When we had them delivered after storage we had to wait a couple of days because of an equipment issue on their end but we did not pay extra for storage. Customer service was pleasant and helpful, delivery guys were great, I cant say enough about U-pack.BIG BONUS: U-Pack was the least expensive of all the options I researched!!

The ABF drivers contracted by U-Pack on both ends of my move were great. Very responsive and professional. But U-Pack itself seems relentlessly incompetent.
On the U-Pack website, they show two cross sections of their cubes, one that appears to be a cross section from the back, and another unlabeled cross section that I assumed was a map view (looking down on the horizontal plane). Based on those cross sections and the fact that the phone agents were constantly referring to the cubes as "8 footers", I assumed that the 8-ft dimension was the length of the cube. It's only when you drill down into your move plan that the cross sections are properly labelled and you can see that the 8-ft length is along the VERTICAL. So if you have a long couch, you have to transport it on its end, which really weakens its frame. My advice to U-Pack is to lose the unlabeled cross sections and replace them with the properly labelled ones provided in the move plans so that clients will know exactly what they're dealing with.
Another piece of U-Pack incompetence occurred when the cubes arrived at their destination and nobody bothered to inform me. I contacted U-Pack and they assured me that the local ABF freight people would call me about dropping the cubes at my destination, but after 5 days and no word, I finally called ABF. They said that there had been a "hold" on the cubes for five days because of failure to make payment. Yet U-Pack had a perfectly good credit card on file that they never bothered to run after I added 3 cubes to the move. So I lost 5 days because the clowns at U-Pack couldn't be bothered to do their freaking jobs. For whatever reason, U-Pack is not effectively communicating with ABF and leaving it to the client to figure out what's going on, from hundreds of miles away.
U-Pack also forgot to tell me that they could only drop 4 cubes at a time at the destination, so if you use more than 4 cubes you have to unload them and then wait until ABF can drop the remaining cubes. This is a real problem if you've hired professional movers to unload the cubes because they're on the clock. Luckily, my unloaders were located close to the ABF facility, so drove there first to unload the one cube that hadn't been dropped, before heading to the destination where they unloaded the rest of the cubes. But because of U-Pack's failure to tell me about the 4-cube limit, I had to bear the costs of the additional travel time.
Next time, I'll either use PODS or go completely DIY and rent a U-Haul truck. At least PODS and U-Haul don't misrepresent the lengths of their containers, don't put unnecessary "holds" on your containers because they've failed to run your credit card, and don't forget to tell you that there's a limit to the number of containers that can be delivered at the same time.

Had a great experience with U-Pack on both ends of our move. They were flexible with our schedule in delivering at our destination and the drivers called in advance of delivery.

They were great!. The cube came to our location quickly. You might need to wait until they get your cube but eveyone on the site of Tampa we're very helpful.

U-Pack was a great moving option for us when we moved from the northeast to South Carolina. U-Pack has excellent customer service, every representative I contacted was very helpful with clear instructions regarding drop-off and pickup and any other questions we had. I have recommended them to friends.

I used this company twice and both times they were excellent. They had the trucks at our house on time and at short notice. They were affordable, reliable, and friendly. Definitely recommend! We had a great experience with U-Pack I definitely will use them again if I need a moving company,

Can't say enough about experience with Upack. The dispatch of trucks getting trailers to and from our location was outstanding. We used 3- 28ft trailers for our move from NJ to VA. We hired 3 U-pack workers to pack one of the 28ft trailers with all our heavy items in NJ. They were outstanding, handling everything and wrapping everything like it was their own. We thanked them and gave them a very nice tip for their efforts. The 3 - Upack workers were hired for 2 hours, but I knew going in it would take longer to load then that because of all the wrapping of blankets and playing jenga with our furniture to make things fit. So I had no problem with the extra cost. When we arrived in VA, we recieved the 1st trailer with the heavy items first, the next day we hired 3 people to help unload. We hired them for 2 hours, but it took 3 hours to get everything off loaded. Possible could have been done in 2 hours, but 1 of the worker's left to change clothes. Didn't arrive back for a good 45 minutes to an hour later, so it was just myself and the 2 other Upack workers unloading the truck for the 1st hour. Little disappointed by that. Would have gave a 5 star review if that didn't happen. The other 2 trucks my wife and I unloaded without any issues, again the Upack Team at the Truck Company (ABF) were outstanding delivering and picking up our trailers. They were great!! Overall price couldn't be beat compared to making a move like this 475miles with a regular moving company, with all the upcharges of everything.

Our first time using U-Pack, they delivered the storage trailer unit on time, picked it up on time and delivered it on time. We needed to extend our unloading time, they were very accommodating and were very pleased overall with their services. I'd use the again definitely.

Wow!!!This is what customer service should look like,the initial call to set up the out of state move began my encounter with the employees at UPack.The delivery of the empty bins was met by the driver who was very pleasant and provided his recommendation which worked out best, he explained the process of what was needed after packing the bins. Calling to have the UPack bins picked up was another example of excellent customer service.Onced unpacked the option to text when ready for pick up was convenient. My mom indicated that the pick was smooth and easy.The price cant be beat!!!! If you are moving Ihighly recommend the UPack Team!!! Keep up the great work!!!
