I am been doing business at this South River Post Office for over 18 yrs. I have read many negative reviews and just cannot understand why? All of my experiences have been top notch! The manager has always been very professional and knowledgeable. The employees are always patient, and take great care with listening as well as informing. I feel it is a great shame that customers just rather get angry and vent instead of communicating in a positive voice. Again, I give this Post Office five stars !

My daughter and I arrived on time for the passport appointment and the manager indicated that we should wait, claiming that we did not arrive on time, there was no other appointment , we waited 15 more minutes, the appointment was at 1:15, it was 1:30 and she indicated that serve others like make us to wait more time we left the place and we got the passport in Jersey city, very unpleasant experience at this post office in south river !

100% of the packages delivered out of half a dozen have been delivered broken and destroyed by hateful employees at usps. investigations is a nightmare, they will fire nobody.

The attitude is so bad. They asked me to fill in a form when I didn't have to fill it out. They said I used another mobile phone to pay and suspected that I had stolen other people's money. Please, I drive more cars than you earn in a year. I seriously doubt whether he is a racist

A woman named Nikki at the window , she doesn’t know what she is doing there . She refused to take my packages because the sending address is not south river NJ . I told her that mails can be sent anywhere in the USA regardless of the sending address but she made up an excuse saying it was her boss' instruction. So I went to the next town and shipped the packages. My sending address is Princeton junction NJ and I used to ship packages from south river NJ before .She is a lier and absolutely not qualified to work for USPS. Unprofessional and rude !!!If there is 0 or - star , that’s what she should get it .

I always go to the one in East Brunswick and I went to the south River post office. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! I rather wait on the lines in East Brunswick. At least they treat their customers with respect. There was nothing wrong with the two boxes I had taped up to give them for shipping. They gave me some lame excuse that the tape will cause a fire and then ask me if I wanted to buy a roll of tape. Horrible service

I have had nothing but good experiences at SR Post Office. Hyun is the best and super efficient. Our Postmaster, Bridget answered the phone on first ring.My wife and I went to renew passports. Had trouble with on-line appointments. Called, Bridget answered, confirmed us for 1:00pm. Hint, go online and do the application ahead of time.Hyun took our pictures, paid, put in an envelope and we were out at 01:15pm. Very simple if you do your homework. Great bunch of folks to work with.

how they attempt to deliver my item if they don't knock on my door? now I lost 1 day to go to the postal office and a thousand dollars for delaying the shipment, maybe I'll take to court
