So disappointing. After them confirming the item I was looking for, my drs office also faxed over the prescription was there. Once I got there, the item was unavailable. This gave me pause...

I never remember to write a review 99% of the time anywhere for anything. But….when it comes to medicine, in particular prescription meds I want make certain everything is accurate. Because my health and wellness are extremely important to me.I appreciate Twin City’s service and reputation mostly. It has been consistent and satisfactory. I switched from CVS and Walgreens one year ago. Mainly due to the overall incompetence, uncaring, dismissive and poor customer service nature of pharmacy staff. Definitely corporate!!Last night, to my disappointment only one of 2 Rx medications was ready for pick up. Ketorlac an anti-inflammatory was ready. Skelaxin, a muscle relaxant was not. Apparently My insurance requested additional authorization and it would take more time. I was unaware of the status until I called TC to request delivery. I had not checked Twin City’s voicemail message that is always sent when a Rx is ready.I quickly made it to TC just before closing. I wanted to pickup the Rx that was ready but had additional questions for the pharmacist. Especially since before going to the pharmacy I did speak to my primary’s office. (Was told authorization was sent to my insurance for hopeful approval)My questions for the pharmacist, Esther, was specifically how soon could I take my first dose of Ketorolac because my dr gave me a Toradol injection 7 hours earlier. She asked what the dosage amount was of the Toradol injection. I didn’t know the answer and she said that would determine how soon to take it. Now I’m not sure if that’s typically a piece of information I would be told by my Dr. Especially since her focus was to relieve my severe hip pain asap.I told Esther I would call primary asap the very next morning (today) and call back. I was only trying to be absolutely certain of what to do next. I was in a lot of pain and was taken back with how short she was with me. Again, it was closing time but this was important to me.She was not a reflection of my past experiences @Twin City. After she finished talking she didn’t demonstrate professional customer service ny turning and walking away. No goodbye or do you have any more questions. A simple thank you, do you understand, ok we’ll expect your call in the morning, or hope you feel better, nor did she once address me by my name. I look forward to future interactions when I need Twin City (from delivery driver to cashier) but o will not if Esther is on the schedule.Quick update-This morning I called back and spoke to Esther. Reminded her of our discussion last nite regarding how soon can I take first dose of Ketorolac. Stated “well it’s been almost 24 hours so yeah you can take it.” I stated no it won’t be 24 hours for another 4 hours.”Then without her asking, I told her the injection dose of Toradol was 60. She then stated well that’s a very strong dose. (Makes sense since I had very strong pain)And to go ahead and take Ketorolac now although it wasn’t a full 24 hours. At that point I was confused but thanked her and hung up the phone. She never once went to my profile to refresh her memory or make believe that she was taking a moment to address my needs or concerns.Like I said before this update, I will continue to use Twin City. I will also continue to recommend Twin City, since I support local family owned businesses. But I will not tolerate that type of customer service again.

Best pharmacy. I've been looking everywhere to get Valium suppositories for my fur baby as he gets seizures. I called and they were so helpful and had to make them for me as he is small and they didn't have the dosage he needed on hand. They made it and called me when it was ready. Thank you for everyone's kindness and help.

Words can't express how grateful I was for everyone at Twin City! The deliveries to our house made our in home hospice visit experience so amazing and Angel was amazing! Also when we worked with a local hospice house Twin City did an amazing there too! Also communication was seamless and everything worked out so well.

I needed a wheelchair for my 14 year old son who is having surgery in about a week. I've never purchased or rented any kind of medical equipment before so this pharmacy was probably the third place I called. The other pharmacies told me that I had to pay for the wheelchair upfront then send the prescription and store receipt to the insurance company and pray for the best. So I just assumed that was applied to every surgical supply pharmacy. But when I spoke to the staff at Twin City, they informed me that they will take care of the insurance company regarding a prior authorization for payment and I didn't have to do a thing except have my son's doctor fax 2 papers and that was it! She said authorization may take up to 14 days but amazingly my insurance covered everything that same day! The staff at Twin City obviously know what they're doing and I'm very appreciative of them... ☺️
