They are so honest. When you show up and your problem is minor, they tell you the problem is minor. They aren’t trying to get every penny out of you they can. I’ve only had good experiences here. Very knowledgeable, very friendly.

For more than ten years I've used them so many times for so many things repaired on so many cars. I would be lost without them. Brake jobs, tires, tire repairs, alternators, headlight replacements. I trust them implicitly. They deserve to have a bigger garage and parking lot.

The best auto mechanic you'll ever need in the Bergen/Passaic, heck, Northern NJ area, PERIODT!I've been their customer since early 2000s when I drove in a hand-me down 1992 Infiniti G20 that got a new lease on life, when I got my 2004 Acura TSX, and now they gave me a new lease on life for the said Acura at its 200k+ mileage. It shows that I really like this mechanic and that I TRUST this business to do RIGHT by me.Mr. James is the owner who's on the quiet side and Mr. Jay is the ex-teacher who's more garrulous - I really like how Jay explains everything that he's doing so that YOU understand as the customer what's happening. With those end-of-life tune ups, they NEVER tried to upsell or overpromise something crazy but recommended appropriate solutions for my old-old cars so that I can ride it relatively safely without spending a fortune, til I get a new car. One mechanic was afraid to install new batteries thinking there is other issue with alternator. I came to Jay and he's like "this is why it's not the alternator and all you need is a new battery", and voila, my car that kept not starting has been running fine for past 4 months.I really like these folks so I've introduced customers over the years and I've brought my wife here as well. They're simply the best - even when busy, they'll try to help and if too busy, will tell you when they could get to your car. As many other reviewers have said, they do not try to rip you off, offer very reasonable price, and do a GREAT job fixing your car so that you can drive safely & enjoy.I won't hesitate to recommend this GEM to all who need an honest mechanic in the North Jersey area!

The best. The Oasis in the desolate wilderness of shifty mechanics jiffying ur benjamins. You can't beat these guys - Mr. Choi(? the owner) and Mr. Kang the Professor Auto. I've been their customer every since... let's see... early 2000s. Was sad to see their original location close, and I thought the world was over and I sojourned in the wilderness looking for half as trustworthy mechanics in the Fort Lee area... until on my recent first trip to CostCo Teterboro I saw a mirage to my right... The Korean Flag. On an Automechanic shop. I rubbed my eyes in disbelief for a second and stared again - and there it was - the proud Korean flag + automechanic combo, which could only harken back to my memories of seeing the same in the original location closer to Palisades Park side of the same Rt. 46. I literally stopped by right away and there they were, like Professor X and the Beast in the X-Men movies quietly deliberating on plans to kick Magneto's a*** Mr. Kang and Mr. Choi(?) the owner - fine gents jus' doing their thang. Owner recognized me despite 10+ years having passed. As did Mr. Kang who immediately gave me the lowdown on my problem with battery and installed a new one, and my oft-dead car issue that plagued me for several months... solved. Other mechanics told me it could be alternator issue so they didn't want to sell me battery just to have the car dead the next day or so, and Mr. Kang just explained the $h%# out of those dudes to the stratosphere. BAMN. PEW-PEW! KAZAAM!!! Hasta la vista baby. All my clouds of confusion and worry - GONE with the wrench. *cue the scene of gunslinger holstering his smoking wrench back* "But Mr. Kang, what about what they told me about my timing belts that are so old? Any dangers?" Another lightning-fast Bruce Lee-esq explanation why I need not worry. BAMN! POW! 1-inch punched outta hell to the Andromedas. And this was all done within a few efficient minutes close to their closing time. I didn't have anymore fearful issues to inquire about. A nice handshake and a knowing smile, and a promise to return, and return the hell I shall. I don't have to second guess myself anymore on any more mechanical issues which I have plenty with my 2004 Acura TSX until I can get a new one after this ridiculous car inflation subsides. And then some with my new car, I can be sure counted to come ONLY to Tech Power. Screw dealers - I ain't going anywhere else and I don't need your watered-down coffee. If you've been struggling finding honest mechanics who're super experienced, can and WILL take time to EXPLAIN what they're doing, give you REASONABLE price, and CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS... look no further - come to Tech Power, your car's promised land foretold in the Car Bible. You really can't go wrong here. Or, if you wanna continue paying exorbitant price while feeling somewhat important sipping watered-down coffee... keep going to your dealership. :) (half joking, half not)
