60 Park Pl 8th floor, Newark“We have worked with the team at PBP since 2018 and have seen our events grow and reach new families and partners each year and we are looking forward to continued future successes!”
“As a volunteer for this organization, I love what they do! They’re so thoughtful towards both clients and volunteers. I'm so glad that PAWS exists to help people together with their beloved companions and volunteering with them has been such a pleasure and fun.”
“This is a community. Not only is it non-profit, but the things that are done, are exceptionally well done. They care for veterans and kids at war in different countries, something that is barely spoken of, and the beauty that this community of volunteers gets together to help is such a wonderful thing.”
“A great place to stroll after lunch or dinner! There are new art installations and great views. Of course many great photo ops as well. Because it's right next to the river you want to layer up, because it can get cold and windy. Summer nights are prefect on the High Line.”
“I can't express enough gratitude for the incredible experience my family and I had with Peace4paws, especially with Amanda leading the way. From the moment we inquired about rescuing a pup, we felt welcomed and supported. Amanda's warmth and kindness instantly put us at ease, making the adoption process smooth and stress-free.
Her knowledge and passion for animal welfare were evident as she guided us through each step, ensuring we found the perfect match for our home. Amanda took the time to understand our lifestyle and preferences, ultimately introducing us to Oakley (formerly known as Wally).
Not only did Amanda facilitate the adoption process seamlessly, but she also went above and beyond to provide resources and support even after Oakley came home. Her dedication to the well-being of animals and genuine care for adopters like us truly sets Peace4paws apart.
We are forever grateful to Amanda and the entire Peace4paws team for bringing Oakley into our lives and making our adoption journey a truly unforgettable one. We wholeheartedly recommend Peace4paws to anyone looking to add a furry friend to their family. Thank you for everything!”
“I stumbled upon this cute place while exploring the city. I had never heard of a zine before but was in awe when I walked in. It’s easy to forget about time and get lost in all the zines and books. The staff is really kind and passionate about the arts. Savannah really took her time to show me what Zines are all about. I was really inspired by her. I can’t wait to come back in the fall when I’m in the city.”
“Allhamdullah, Allhamdullah, one of the best place to be all year round, with amazing staff, volunteers and free programs for all ages. May Allah reward the NIA team members for all their efforts especially during Ramadan. Ameen.”
“Currently interning in Dream Center NYC and my experience has been nothing but positive and amazing. I felt blessed to have found an organization that cares so deeply for the community and providing many needs. This is an organization that meets the community face to face, creates relationships, and provide food boxes or supplies for whoever is in need. If you are interested in volunteering or interning or just needing some assistances or supplies please feel free to connect with us.”
“MFTA has been like the heart and soul of the arts and cultures in NYC. This company and staff are great! Thanks the donors that keep donating year after year.❤️??”
“Amazing hub for out of town runners like me who want to run in Central Park. Lockers, water fountain, changing rooms, and bathroom all kept clean by hardworking cleaning staff. The employees I’ve interacted with are all helpful and friendly. Be aware there are no showers, but I always bring disposable XL “shower” wipes.”

2271 3rd Ave, New York“The wilderness job readiness class with Keith and Mike was a success! Both of them are great instructors. I got a job less than a month after coming home from a 5 year bid. We went to a job fair and I was recruited by Guns Down Life Up to be a youth mentor. So give thanks to Keith, Mike and the whole Exodus community!”
“First time I walked into Bottomless closet I received very good resume assistance, I also had 2 outfits for my jobs interview coming up, two months later I got a job and they gave me 3 more outfits of my preference. The staff are the best, they take their time with each client. Really recommended.”
9:30AM - 4:30PM
313 Hudson Ave, Tenafly“Very decent nature center and system of trails around it (see Avenza or AllTrails for precise navigation). Unfortunately mid-July situation with mosquitoes is horrible, just too many of them to enjoy the trails.”
“The Ridgewood Women's club is an absolutely beautiful venue that I highly recommend to anyone. My wife and I threw a baby shower the size of a wedding there (140-150 people), and the event space was perfect for it. The women who run the club are professional, responsive and helpful. We had a wonderful experience and we can't thank them enough. Everyone should look into this place for a large event. You won't be disappointed.”
“Fantastic shop to blow glass. Equipment is great, glass quality is superb but the best part is the quality of the people who work there. You cant find a nicer bunch of people than those who work at the roots.”
“Such a nice house. I went there to attend the 20th Bruce Boyer Chess tournament and woe what a place. Inside is very warm and cozy. The architectural details inside the house are awesome. I highly recommend to visit when you have a chance.”
“I am visiting NYC and staying on the upper east side. My friend was on a work call so I ventured out for a walk on this beautiful day. I walked down 87st and it led me here. I knew I was headed towards something great as I saw so many dogs walking in the same direction. The park was on the water and was such a refreshing scene from the city streets I just walked down. There were tons of people playing pickle ball. People chilling on park benches and just an overall good vibe. I didn't get pics of any dogs because I was petting them. :)”
“Michael Steadman & the Ironbound team are single handedly changing peoples lives, everyday. I have had the pleasure to work with them, and I look forward to continue our working relationship.”
“National Sawdust is a visual treat. The concert I most recently attended was set up in their extremely intimate cabaret set up, but I have done standing room shows in the venue too. It’s always comfortable, and there is no bad view in the house. The acoustics and speaker design are also perfect, ensuring you hear everything with precision. This is, hands down, one of the best venues in NYC and the world!”

725 Exterior Street, Bronx“This place offers such an amazing experience. I truly enjoyed it with my kids. I went to other children's museums in the city and this is my favorite one. I was worried about it being timed but it was so much better this way. They have activities, story time, end of day parade . Was a great experience.”

209 W 38th St #2, New York“The Garment District Alliance decided to replace the old dark Button and Needle installed in 1996 with a shiny bright yellow button one with a chrome needle. Even at night with the new lighting, you can see it from a few blocks away.they also removed the Info Booth that was under it, it was out of use due to visitors using smartphones for information about the garment district and the businesses in the area. The button is 15 feet wide and the needle 32 feet long, the sculpture is brought to you by The Garment District Alliance with support from many others, the sculpture itself could be a collaboration between the architect and art installation firms and no one artist was mention on the opening day ceremonies or the official web site.”
“I love this little house. As children, we would come on school trips. It looked so big, but now, as an adult, everything looks so small. I adore the history and the fact that it's still standing in the middle of Inwood. It's a must-see if you're in the area. Trust me, when you're in the backyard, you're going to feel like you're not even in the city.”
“I am really thankful to North Bergen purr they helped me so much with two stray cats one of the strays did not wanted to leave my house Sebastian so I ended up adopting him”

“This is the first time I have ever gone to City Green. I actually never even realized it was there. I was impressed but the vegetables they had and understand that they have a large festival the weekend before or after thanksgiving. Will keep an eye out for that.”
“What an incredible experience with Mantena employees. Ju helped me and advised me what I should do to be able to take my mother's ashes to Brazil. With it I got a password for the Itinerary Consulate and everything went well. When I was there, I noticed people passing by and collecting food from boxes at the entrance of the agency. I was moved by this. Guys, we have to be more humble to help so many who are in need. Congratulations Mantena, Solange and your entire wonderful team. ❤️❤️❤️”
“I am fairly early in the process, but so far have had a really smooth experience. My intake counselor has been extremely informative and helpful. After our first meeting, I truly felt the potential of being able to purchase a home in the future! I am looking forward to continuing this process towards homeownership with NACA”
