I ordered 3 dining chairs. The delivery date was ridiculous in the first place. Months go by. The date goes by. No notification if delays. I have to call the store for an update several times. The chairs were eventually delivered and they were fine. Good quality but I’ll never buy anything here again. No communication at all. No accountability.

I have recently worked with Kim Krupp and have been very happy. Kim is so sweet and truly listens to what you would need and want. She designed our rooms with great representation of what we had in mind and our lifestyle. She took care of making sure everything went together from rugs, draperies, furniture, wall coverings and paint color. Now we are going to be looking to her for help with artwork and accessories. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Extremely disappointed in this Ethan Allen. We spent over 11K for a large sectional sofa. Within one year, the fabric pilled and seemed overly worn in certain areas of the couch. My salesperson was lovely, and tried to help me. She was equally disgusted by the lack of durability of the fabric. She advocated for me to no avail. The owners wouldn't do anything. I am stuck with a huge piece of furniture that was extremely over priced for the quality and looks worn. I learned the fabric had been discontinued and imagine the poor quality was a part of that decision. I have shopped at other Ethan Allen's in NJ and NY and never had such an issue. I would never set foot in that store again - I think different owners handle things differently. They do not back their products. I would have been better off buying something at Bob's and replacing it every year. Again, the salesperson/designer was lovely.Update in response to reply:In response to your reply, do your records indicate that pieces were were delivered in December of 2019 and then in January of 2020. You were closed for covid for months. I called a bunch of times though obviously understood the circumstances. One year was your fabric warranty. And because it was finally brought to your attention March of 2021 you washed your hands of any responsibility - for an 11k sectional. You offered zero options - zero ways to help. I am not sure why you are assuming they werent professionally cleaned or cared for properly. Perhaps this could have been brought up at the time, but nothing was. I was told simply that the warranty is 12 months and 14 months is too late so bascially my loss. As for your rigorous testing, we didnt "abraise" the fabric - we sat on it. At least you discontinued using that fabric, can't imagine why. Lesson learned.I've shopped in many furniture stores and never had to deal with such quality issues, and at a much lesser price point.Note: This review is long overdue, but I finally had the time to address this.

We recently updated aspects of our family room as well as our master bedroom. We again chose Ethan Allen because the furniture and drapes we have purchased in the past have supported Ethan Allen’s reputation of not only having beautiful pieces but stand for quality furniture and excellent service.Our interior designer, Toni Scott, only showed us furniture and samples which met our taste after discussing what we were seeking. She was knowledgable of Ethan Allen’s product lines, worked with us as we had certain COVID requirements and was a pleasure to deal with. We had a great experience. We would definitely use Toni and Ethan Allen again for any future projects.

We recently remodeled our family room. We chose Ethan Allen because of their reputation of having quality furniture and excellent service.Our interior designer Kim’s professionalism and knowledge exceeded our expectations.The first thing she did was come out to our house to see the space we were redecorating.We had already chosen our sectional so she took measurements to make sure it would fit and made suggestions as to which of our existing pieces of furniture would compliment the new space. Using the colors and the Asian flare we already had she created a masterpiece.Kim was a pleasure to work with and everything she chose flowed together perfectly. She has a great eye and even helped us pick colors for other rooms she wasn’t decorating.We would definitely use Kim and Ethan Allen again for any future projects.

We ordered a bedroom set (5 pieces) on Aug 7th of 2021 and still waiting for furniture and parts to be delivered. The furniture has been coming slowly, separately and not in Ethan Allen standards. A drawer in one dresser had paint already chipping, they say the replacement will be sent in two weeks. We have the bed scheduled to come this Friday. This will be the forth bed. First bed broke before delivery, second bed was wrong, third bed had cracked wood. Plus trying to communicate has been an issue. We get different answers each time we call for an update. I would not go back to this location and might not go back at all to Ethan Allen. I gave it a one star because they did give me about a 2% refund from total bill and free delivery to try to make me happy for waiting over 6 months and having complications.

I recently ordered the Arcata couch, chair and a leather bench from Ethan Allen and was pleased with its quality and appearance. My design consultant Kim was a pleasure to deal with and was helpful in making selections. No stress from the delivery either. Hopefully the furniture will last a long time, but at least for the past few months, I have no complaints.

After almost 13 years of using an ok furniture, I needed a change. But realized that I have limited interior design knowledge. I decided to seek help from the experts.Andrea Pinto of Ethan Allen Somerville branch NJ, walked into my house as a stranger and after several consultations, has become my friend, and older sister! She was very professional, honest, sincere, and passionate about her job. She was also very patient with me. Initially, I was quite clueless to what goes with what for my home.For over a decade, I was busy taking care of my kids and their school activities and never bothered about the ambience of my home that much.Andrea patiently educated me on interior design, and the outcome is quite breathtaking!!My sister visited from out of state and the first thing she said was “ oh wooow, I can’t believe this! This is a completely new house. This Remodelling is as if you have bought a completely new house, I can’t believe this! Kudos to Andrea Pinto of EA Somerville!

Toni in the Somerville store is amazing. We remodeled our entire house and Toni helped us with each aspect of each room. Loved her patience even when we were indecisive. She made multiple trips just to make sure things were perfect. Explained so well the Covid lead times. Just overall really cared and wanted to deliver a great product for us. Definitely worth the service--take that into account when picking your retailer!

Kate Marchesini my design consultant at Somerville Ethan Allen helped me create the home of my dreams. I initially sought help with redesinning my bedroom and that led to our living room project. I'll never forget how Kate came to my home, sat down and channeled inspiration from a piece of furniture I inherited from my mother! She presented a color theme and from that created a design based on my interests and tastes. The results far exceed my expectation, the elegance and beauty evokes for me spiritual connections with my mother's and grandmother's sense of decor while reflecting my life's experience and own style! I’ve been working with Andrea at the somerville EA store to help me freshen up my condo. With her guidance I was able to buy the perfect couch with beautiful accent pillows. Andrea also found a very different foyer table which I never would have thought to buy If I was decorating myself . She was great at helping me with paint colors, wall paper and all the finishing touches Andrea is easy to work with as is the entire staff at Somerville Ethan Allen. Very welcoming and a pleasure to do business with.

Kate was fantastic. She designed our Living room& we are very happy with the outcome. She is genuinely interested in making everything perfect from top to bottom!!! When we met her in the showroom, we knew right away that she was the designer for us. She is very knowledgeable & very patient, we highly recommend her.
