“I was in desperate need of a box spring and needed it before an early morning mattress delivery. I called the North Brunswick store and Mark picked up. Within 15 minutes of the call I was at the store and Mark had the items I needed waiting for me. He saved the day and treated me like family! Will be stopping in tomorrow for some other items and will continue to shop at this location for all my bedding needs. Mark you are the best!!”
“Unlike other furniture stores on Route 22, we weren't "jumped on" the moment we walked in the door. Our sales person (Alan Granetz) was extremely knowlegeable and helpful. He introduced himself, asked how he could assist us (asked what were we looking for), and then guided us to where the said items were located. He then gave us time to browse with out breathing down our necks. When he saw we appeared interested in a couple of pieces he aporoached us and explained available options (manual, motorized, upholstry...etc) and asked if we had any questions. He then checked availability. He was extremely attentive without be overbearing. The other sales reps on the floor appeared to have a similar sales approach. I usually hate furniture shopping because most sales people are pushy and overbearing. That was not the case at La-z-y North Plainfield. I highly reccomend them.”

“We went to many stores plus online as well, to shop for new outside dining and conversation furniture for our large deck. Jake T. helped us earlier in the day, answered all our questions but I was not ready to buy. No pressure, left knowing he would help if we wanted him to - he was working until 7 and also sunday. After a few more places, one with “these are selling fast, I’d buy it now”… we decided to go back to Jake and compare sets. Jake was Fortunoffs as I used to shop there, answered every question, left us to decide, anyway… we purchased two sets. Cabriz dining and a conversation corner and umbrella w base. Backyard sale saved us $$.
Sale went well, let’s see how delivery and set up goes… I would hire Jake to support any picky demanding customer base. Andrew was helpful and friendly also.”

“I have purchased great furniture from Rider numerous times. This time I asked them (Sue) to fully refinish an antique oak table circa 1900. I've owned this table for 50 years and we use it as our main dining table. Has great lions claw feet, decorative panels each end, underneath. Needed a full finish refresh.The job Rider did (esp. John in refinishing) was simply remarkable, really perfect. And great value. Looks like new. John removed the old finish completely. Sanded and repaired. Added a perfect color stain, to match our chairs. Beautifully satin-finished on top and throughout. It was obvious, a labor of love and respect for my family's table by John and the team. I highly recommend Rider for your refinishing job !”

“What a one of a kind antique shop. This place not only isn't a run down place like most antique shops but has such an amazing collection of antiques. From books to tea sets. Old lanterns ,collectibles, swords ,irons ,pictures etc. Me and the wife found so many treasures for beautiful decorations. The owner Raphael was super nice very knowledgeable and priced everything reasonably. It's a very well maintained and beautifully presented shop. “I bought an office chair at Casey's nearly 5 years ago. I had a problem with the swivel section of the chair. I was afraid I would have to buy a new chair. I went back to Casey's and explained my problem. I did not have my receipt, but Edwin researched and found that the chair was still under warranty. He could have tried to sell me a new chair, but instead he handled the warranty process with the manufacturer. The replacement swivel came and within 10 days, my chair was fixed (not even a labor charge). Good service. Thank you.”

“We purchased a beautiful sofa and matching loveseat, and as usual the staff designers had great suggestions and were able to easily help us design our custom pieces. A fabric swatch was quickly sent by mail so we could continue to select complementary furniture, rug, paint and accessories. We were also surprised that the furniture was delivered in the promised timeframe. We have a number of home improvement projects going on simultaneously and all of the contractors are complaining about huge supply chain disruption and inability to get anything on time.
