So, I'll never buy a boat from them again. They are your best friend when selling you a boat. They brag about being a Volvo Penta Dealer and Shop. But if you buy a used boat from them, like less than a year ago, and then have an issue, they won't work on it once it's more than 10 years old. So to recap, I bought a 9.5 year old boat, on the 360th day of my ownership I needed to bring it in for service and they flat out refused because they are "unfamiliar with the boat". Even after finding out a bought it there and they "did a whole inspection and got it ready to sell" they still wouldn't let me bring it in.

I’ve tried to be a loyal customer but I’m done with this place. Service department is horrible. Complete lack of caring or willingness to help. They take weeks if not months to work on your boat and if you’re lucky it will actually be fixed when you get it back. Not to mention for this lack of caring you pay a premium in repair costs. Today after stopping in for a very minor issue while on the water I was told at 3:15pm it’s almost quitting time and I cannot have anyone help you.

This was the worst spring commissioning since I bought my boat here in the spring of 2020 but it's par for the course.
In 2020, they sent me off with a power steering system that wasn't connected properly. By the time I got to my first destination, I had no steering and had to be rescued by a much more experienced boater that jumped on and cranked the wheel violently to avoid a collision in the marina.
Each year has been an adventure. In 2021 they told me the boat was washed and fueled up. The guys that launched me told me I had to pay more if I wanted the boat cleaned (which I had paid for) When I pulled out, I found that I had no fuel and needed to turn around just as I was heading out of the inlet, thankful to have enough fuel to get to Longport marina. You could pin this one on me due to lack of experience but it speaks to the lack of communication throughout this organization.
This year I was charged for two battery hookups for the second time when I only have one battery. They also charged $230 for 'Commissioning' which is supposed to include "INSPECT ELECTRICAL SYSTEM, INSPECT ELECTRONICS, INSPECT STEERING HARDWARE AND VISIBLE HOSES, INSPECT VISIBLE THRU-HULL FITTINGS, CLAMPS, AND HOSES, INSPECT VISIBLE FUEL LINES AND CLAMPS. AND SEA TRIAL OF BOAT FOR PROPER PERFORMANCE." yet I had no depth finder, no fuel gauge and no sonar. The General Manager told me I may need to update my Garmin software which didn't solve anything. Now Pete in the service department is trying to tell me that it may have been that way when I brought it in for the winter or that there is a problem with the unit. I've had all I can stand of being overcharged and under serviced.

It's well into June and my boat was supposed to go in the water in early May. No apologies, no excuses. Just, we'll let you know when its ready. You would be a fool to store your boat here. Completely understaffed and mismanaged.

This greedy general manager took on too many boats and now is pissing off the entire community as they wait over a month for their boats that are late the people had no customer service training don't even know how to talk to upset customers this is the worst Marina I will never go back anybody who deals with them is clueless
