I have been a member for five years now. The new reservation system sucks. It's difficult to get in touch with anyone. I couldn't find an email to send my concerns. But I'm sure if my money wasn't there someone would get back to me

Freedom boat club is the answer to my dreams! I can go boating whenever I want even bicoastal San Diego and Somers Point New Jersey. The fleets are. nearly new and ready and waiting for me to come aboard with my family and friends for a day on the water. When I'm done, I just go back to the dock get out of the boat, take my belongings and that's it. All the pleasure none of the work.! I just love it! I also should mention the crew on the dock waiting for you are the best. Very attentive, knowledgeable and extremely helpful coast to coast.!BTW The best money I've spent in a long time !

My wife and I signed up in southwest FLA, seasonal membership to start, where we have a Florida house. Almost immediately went full membership!! Now we take boats out at our present home before we retire to Florida and have our base in FLA!!! Best decision we've made is an understatement of Grand proportion....

I've been a member for one season, was very skeptical at first. I absolutely love FBC, the dock masters are always courteous and strait forward. I grew up in a Blue collar fam with a sail boat, so "boating" used to mean: sweaty, intense labor and ALL of our money (Bust Out Another Thousand). This opportunity has been totally stress free and a GEM; while traveling out of state to see family and friends, I can reserve a boat instead of having to trail or sail one.

Joined the club this summer. It was a great decision. Dock staff is awesome and we are having a great time on the water.

Everything with this club has been top notch from the beginning. Having never boated on my own before except for a few jet ski rentals, I was hesitant to jump into owning my own boat or jet ski considering how much cleaning, maintenance, and hassle is involved, as well as insurance and other concerns on the water that I would be encountering with little experience. This is where Freedom really stands out in my mind. Before being able to take any boats on my own, I had to have a PowerPoint and an on-water training with Captain Rick (who is awesome btw!). I can say very confidently that the time spent with him was worth the buy in to the club on its own. I now feel very confident on the water, so much so that I immediately took a boat out myself and spent the entire day on the water. I explored the intracoastal from sea isle back to AC and then took a trip half way up the egg harbor river. I had no trouble navigating and knew exactly how to approach other boats, dock, etc. The boats are all very new and well taken care of. They have pontoon boats, bowriders, center and dual console boats for fishing or water sports,, and they are always purchasing new boats as the membership grows. Some can be used offshore up to 25 miles. You have to take a training for that, but as a new boater I wouldn't want to head out into the ocean without that training. They will give you unlimited training so that you are as comfortable and safe as possible while out there. As a father of three I feel this is the most important thing. All of the boats have garmin navigation and charts outlining local restaurants and points of interest. This makes it pretty easy to not hit the shallows or get stuck on a sandbar. But since i got the upgraded insurance plan, towing and repairs are covered 100%. Being a new boater and given the amount of things that can go wrong on the water, this gives me a ton of peace of mind. In fact my first day on the water I drifted into some mud and was easily able to get myself out without any problems and was on my merry way. They keep a ratio of 8 members per boat meaning they buy a new boat every time they add 8 members. From talking with other members and captain Rick, it's not hard to get a boat most times and they have only ever had all boats out once or twice on the same day. I did the weekday plan soI don't have to fight the tourists for boats on the weekend but my understanding is the weekends aren't that bad especially because they have opened other locations in Cape May and Delran as well as in Delaware and New York. You get unlimited access to boats at all of the locations owned by this franchise, I believe it's 8 locations and counting so far. The best part about this club is all of the almost 300 other locations across the country and a few in Europe that you can rent from four times per year each. We plan on planning our vacations around their locations all over the country in not only ocean locations but also lakes and rivers. There isn't enough days In the year to exhaust all of those reciprocal reservations. Some locations have pontoons with water slides even. I also work all over the country so this will really be a much needed reprieve when I'm working. But add to that that I don't have to worry about maintenance, insurance, towing, etc. You have dock staff that caters to your every need, and I can just walk into the dock, hop on a boat, and be out in the bay in five minutes. This boat club is great for people that love boating because of the varied choices of boats, but also because it is so easy and hassle free. I'm not sure I ever see myself buying my own boat. My only disappointment with the club is that they don't have jetskis. I believe that with the training they give , they can definitely find a way to incorporate jetskis and still have favorable insurance coverage. I may buy a jetski at some point but as far as boats, why buy my own when I have access to thousands of boats across the country? 10/10 recommend if you are in the market for a boat, che
