The store in smithville is supposed to open at 11am today and I wait till 11:30 and still no one to open it they had a renaissance thing going on and about 6-8 people were there looking for jerky so if your going to have posted hours then open on time or close the store I will not go back unless I call first and know that they are open

GALLOWAY: "...the jerk store called and they're running out of you!" That quote from the Seinfeld TV series always makes us laugh, but the store we are about to share is not jerky in THAT way, but full of jerky!We were drawn into Smithville House of Jerky by the vegan sign (call before you got to see if they have it in stock) and they are filled with all types of meat jerky snacks. Leashed dogs are allowed inside and Brie made the shopkeepers day! There is also a location in Ocean City.

Great variety of different jerkys and flavors. It is a little on the pricy side for the sizes but considering more than half the types aren't easily found roaming a farm field it's to be expected.Try alligator, mako, ahi tuna, ostrich, and many others for a unique jerky experience.

The rabbit beef jerky was absolutely amazing. Huge and unique selections. The only problem was the young kid behind the counter. The only problem I had was when I walked into the store and said hello to the employee he looked up and then put his head down. He was pre occupied listening to his marijuana podcast. Then not even a thank you after spending $70 in the store. Not a very friendly person.

Very good jerky. One spicy jerky was like a fruit roll up. Flat with marks from a roller? This one was not good at all.Fried peanuts are delicious.

In the era of krave and other hipster style jerkies it's nice to get a taste of the oldschool stuff.Great flavors but the natural beef is still my favorite.
