The "Manager" at this location is the worst with no customer service or people skills. I used my card at the Atm to get cash. The machine didn't give me all of my money and when I spoke with the Manager about it, he simply said "not my problem, we can't give you your money back we don't own the machine, I can't assist you". He was rude, cold and not nice at all.

Honestly pretty disappointed with the customer service here. I have never left a review for any store in my life but this definitely deserves one. I came in to the store looking for Naan bread. I asked an employee where to find it and he simply said he had no idea, not directing me to anyone else for help. Then I asked another employee if he knew where to find it, and he responded “What the hell is that?”. Talk about plain rudeness and inability to be professional. I ended up almost leaving until asking the Customer Service booth, which very kindly showed me where the bread was (yes it’s right in the front I just missed it). Overall, it seems like there is no professional or DEI training in this ShopRite. These interactions could’ve gone south more quickly had I not been a teenage girl who didn’t want to bother. But I work in retail and I will always try and help a customer or direct them to someone else if I don’t know what to do. Thanks to the guy at the Customer Service desk for actually knowing “what the hell” Naan bread was and where to find it…

I have started to only go to shop rite if I need something quick. I prefer to drive 15 more minutes to mccaferrys or even better 20 minutes more to Wegmans.
1) produce is generally not good quality/cared for
2) deli goes bad faster than it should
3) service is generally aloof/acceptable EXCEPT for from 2 older women (maybe early 60s with white hair). Unhelpful, even crochety. I've had poor experiences with both which has led to me largely no longer shopping here

Best ShopRite in this area, I love to shop here because I always finds great fresh foods like fruits, bread, corn, apples, banana, milk, bread every items is fresh. Large store with variety of items.

Went to this Shoprite and paid for over $50 worth of groceries. Realized they overcharged me on nectarines, so I took a picture of the price on the shelf and went to customer service.
And..."Oh Boy!"...the amount of scrutiny it took to credit me $1.20. Shoprite has a "ScanRite" policy that's supposed to give you an item for free if they charge you wrong and I had to get interrogated by the customer service rep. on when the picture was taken of the price. She wanted to see the date/time of the picture on my phone.
ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!!!
The customer service agent could have just walked 20 feet to confirm the price.
I then had to go thru two managers...the front-end manager and then the store manager on duty at the time..."Mr. G".
Again, more scrutiny by them...weighing the nectarines; touching the product with his dirty hands; checking the price over and over again on their systems.
When "Mr. G" realized it was the wrong price they charged me, he wouldn't abide by the ScanRite policy. At this point, after half an hour, I was done arguing.
The store acted like I was ripping them off when it was the other way around.
I know mistakes happen and when it does, it's corrected in a few minutes. The time and ATTITUDE here is obscene!!!
Wrote two emails to Ed Turkot (SVP of Saker Shoprite - owner of this location) about this situation and no replies...from anyone. SEEMS LIKE BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE STARTS AT THE TOP!!!
Unfortunately, this store location will be an empty one soon since Whole Foods is coming down the road and the Hillsborough Shoprite is moving closer to Montgomery in a larger location. With the horrible customer service (Talking to my neighbors, I found I wasn't the only one with this experience) and increased competition, this place will be gone soon. Once it is...Hello Pop Up Halloween Store!!!!

Don’t go to their customer service. They are using someone had not been trained to work there. They don’t help you but talking some nonsense to waste your time.
Today I found out the product I bought has been over charged. I asked the cashier and the cashier told me customer service will help to refund. So I went to customer service, it was an African girl with long black hair was there. I told her the situation but she started chatting with someone else. I was waiting there until she finished chatting and she totally forgot I was waiting and even don’t remember why I was there. Then I had to repeat the request, She told me she couldn’t help because she didn’t know how to refund. I wish she told me first so I don’t have to wait for her. I was surprised why the store hired her and leave her at the position by without training.
Next time if I was her, I won’t try their customer service at all.
I can’t wait the whole food market open cause they provide better service.

Consistently has some of the worst quality produce. If it isn’t under stocked, the food is all ready wilting on the shelves. Made the mistake of buying this asparagus without thoroughly inspecting it, only to find that all the tops have been crushed.

The deli and seafood staff are extremely ignorant and rude. They need to learn some basic communication and customer service skills. I went in on a Friday afternoon at 1:00pm to purchase some Atlantic cod and salmon and no one was around. It took me 10 minutes to find someone to help me. This is RIDICULOUS! What kind of establishment is this?! So DISRESPECTFUL!
