Please do your homework, before booking with Reeka’s Hair Studio. The owner was very rude during the initial call and sent me to her website…that was my red flag!! I was trying to give the salon a play. So after following her lead, I made appt! Remind you, I have no info on who works at the shop. So I booked appt and the owner called me back and said “I just told you, (like, I’m her child) I don’t do same day appointments!” So, I asked why would you system allow me to do it and she couldn’t answer the question.., instead she became argumentative over the phone. I went on to ask are you the only stylists..she said YES! so please explain to me, how was I suppose to know that? I was under the impression I’m booking with another stylist! Especially because the system let me do so!!!I’m pretty sure all her customers are grandfathered in… it’s no way she’s getting new customers with that attitude or that tone!!

Do not use. Very unprofessional. I had to call her to confirm appointment and she did not answer her phone this seems to be common with her as with previous reviews. Stay away.

Made my appointment then came to the address and it’s in someone’s home and I called to see which house it was in and she didn’t answer. A huge waste of time

So Reeka has been my hair stylist for over 10 years . She has been able to adapt to my ever changing style from short cuts, to sew ins, to natural, and she even started and maintains my locs.
