I was in there buying hair I drove 25 mins to get here and the owner or the man working in the store turned the lights off while I was buying hair with me being in there for less 10 mins and he TURNED THE LIGHTS OFF on me while in the store and yelled closed come back tomorrow it was literally pinched black inside. And it was 3 mins before closing time! DONT GO HERE no respect! I just put the hair down and walked out! So disrespectful!

So upon entering the store I smile said Good Morning as I proceeded to look for a product. The man seemed so disturbed by me asking a question of product while showing photo. The response if you don’t see we don’t have. The tone and manner presented to me was uncalled for. Judging by the comments and even responses by the owner, and the treatment described in several of the previous reviews by mostly women of color is more than enough information. No worries I have filed a formal report to NJ Law and Public Safety and the State Attorney Office. As a Representative of State. You may not know the law! But I most certainly do and you seemingly judge people by the color of the skin when in your store.Be mindful of how you speak to your patrons.NJ Discrimination Law:The law means people cannot be denied access to or treated less favorably by a place of public accommodation because of their actual or perceived race, religion, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, disability, gender identity or expression, or other protected characteristic.In addition, employees and agents of places of public accommodation cannot harass patrons or customers.

I literally found EVERYTHING I need for beauty in this store! I also got inspired by some of the products! The story is clean and tidy, and with pleasant services! Definitely will come again!

My first visit to this store on 3/23/24 wasn’t pleasant to say the least. The young Asian man in the braid store was very unfriendly, not helpful and clueless. I was treated like a thief the minute I walked into the store. I went next door to their other store and the young Asian women acted in the same manner! A few minutes later the same young Asian boy walks into the store whispering to the young girl. I felt very uncomfortable. I refuse to purchase in stores that I’m treated like a thief based on the color of my skin. I will never spend my money there! My suggestion to them is don’t open a beauty supply store that caters to black Americans and treat us All like thieves.

I visited on 02/28, and the two attendants were rude and seemed to have an attitude. I was there an hour before closing, but still, I was followed around the store and rushed out. I don’t mind being checked on while shopping, but to sneakily come around and patronize me again draws the line. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone if the people working this evening are still there.

Get the young girls out of there!! They always have an attitude. I didn’t ask you to apply to the job. If I have a question or need something, answer with a smile. I ended up leaving without what I needed because two of your workers seemed annoyed I needed something I couldn’t get because it was locked up. ?
