I followed Alexis to this Salon and I can't say enough good things about her! She has always made a point to listen to me about what I want and always delivers great results. Made my hair look so good I got engaged the next week ?❤️
But seriously - if you need a stylist who has amazing skills, delivers great results, is personable and fun to be around, provides solid recommendations and education on hair care - Alexis is your girl!

My experience with Alexis was absolutely amazing! Walking in, I was hoping to go from dirty blonde/brown to the brightest pink possible in one session, which I know is difficult but that’s exactly what she did! I’m blown away at how quickly she was able to make this happen & how healthy my hair looks and feels! Lex, as well as the rest of the staff made the entire appointment such a comfortable & exciting experience as I transitioned into such a fun color for the summer!!

You know I had thought about this a lot on whether or not to write this review but I think people should know and be aware. Months ago I originally had given a great review at my experience here which I have decided to remove. I found this salon as I wanted a color correction going from jet black to blonde. I had a total of 5 sessions done by stylist Alexis in which I thought was going great. In tangent with the blonding I also had her do some tape in extensions. Please do your research and be careful ! I asked repeatedly how my hair was doing with the color and extensions and was told repeatedly my hair was in great condition and doing great! So I believed her, I have now gone too 3 different stylists to get different opinions and each one told me my hair was chemically damaged (poorly not just from going blonde but by poorly done hair correction) and that the extensions have also damaged my hair and made my hair super thin and frail. I felt like I have lost everything, it has cost me over 1k to get this fixed and to feel confident walking outside again. Now I don’t want this reflected on the entire salon here as I know there are some great workers here, but please do your research and get second opinions here. I’m also seeking legal counsel due to excessive damage that was done as this could of been avoided if the stylist knew what they were doing and didn’t continuously say your hair is fine let’s keep going.

Hi Anthony, I do agree that we should break this down even further. Starting from the beginning during my initial consultation my stylist Alexis we discussed my hair going from Jet Black to Blonde in the healthiest way possible which she ensured that she can do in multiple sessions without causing damage to my hair. When we discussed extensions, she personally recommended for me to get the tape in’s and where to get them from. She personally saw me purchase them. I came back repeatedly due to trusting my stylist telling me that my hair was in good condition. If my hair was discovered during a session that it was so damaged, then why was I not told and why did the stylist proceed with the reinstallation of the extensions. I trusted the stylist just like any person who gets their hair done professionally. When I felt that something was off I decided to seek another professional opinion. At this time being told that my hair was heavily damaged, since I had already had a trust that was broken I decided to get a few more options. Unfortunately their findings were the same. Your stylist broke a trust that a client should have ultimately causing me over 1K in repairs. If your stylist was as professional as you say then she could have repaired my hair and communicated to me that it was not in good shape. I highly advise you to rewatch the videos and audio of those sessions as I know it is standard practice at your salon to have cameras.

I had an amazing experience at Anthony J! The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and professional. My stylist, Alexis did a fantastic job understanding exactly what I wanted and delivered a flawless blowout/style. We could not stop talking, even over the blow dryer. The scalp massage during shampooing was incredibly relaxing, and the products they used left my hair feeling silky smooth. I left the salon feeling rejuvenated and confident with my new look. I highly recommend this place especially Alexis for anyone looking for a relaxing pick me up with a smile and great conversation! Her warm welcome to my last minute appointment will definitely have me coming back.
Stylist: I had Alexis for a last minute blowout before a date and I can not say enough positive things about her!!

My first time at the salon and Destini did my hair. The environment was super welcoming, and Destini made me feel at ease. She was friendly and inviting, and the work she did on my hair was phenomenal (I got so many compliments at work!) I’ve already made my next appointment with her, and I can’t wait!

Fantastic color and style appointment with Alexis today! She is experienced, professional, very creative, and she knows her way around hair products. My hair looks amazing, and I am looking forward to seeing Alexis again soon when it’s time to touch up highlights and enjoy another fabulous blow out. I want to first say I have nothing against the salon as a whole. The studio was clean, organized, and well decorated. I felt good walking in!
This was my first time getting my hair done in about a year, and it was my first time to this salon. I asked the stylist Abbey to go darker, and for a cut with curtain bangs and layering, and showed multiple pictures of what I was looking for. The consultation was extremely short, with no questions about how I wear my hair, what I liked/disliked about my inspo photos, etc. When I tried to explain how I wanted the bangs, my stylist just said “Yeah, I know how to do curtain bangs.” I was a little uncomfortable but shrugged it off. The rest of the appointment was quiet and a little uncomfortable. For example, the back of my shirt got soaked at the sink, but she did not say anything. She brushed my hair quite hard to pull out any tangles, but kept going from root to tip and tugging instead of focusing on just the knots. She cut my layers in thick sections. Then, she cut blunt bangs. At this point all I wanted to do was leave but we were almost done and I thought maybe in would look okay after she styled it. Instead, she just blowdried my hair without any real styling being done. At that point, I paid and left.
When I got home I took a closer look and was immediately frustrated. There were multiple dye stains on my skin, and the layers were super blunt and choppy (see images). I made an appointment to get it fixed somewhere new.
I don’t want to judge the entire salon because of one stylist, but I will not be rebooking and I unfortunately would not recommend.

I found Anthony a couple years ago, and I'm so thankful that I did. I have never trusted ANYONE with my hair, until I met him. He is so professional, and a pleasure to be around. Because of him, my hair has never been healthier, and I've even had strangers ask me where I get my hair done. He takes care of you, and makes sure you leave happy. Plus the place is super cute and clean!
