My experience with this place is totally horrible,and the service is pool,they have like 15-20 guys that works there and non of them knows anything it is really Annoying then they Give you an attitude don't know how they are still in busy... I would not recommend my dog to go there that's how bad Monmouth building center is I made my last order with that company and that order took a whole week to come.....

I started doing business (painting) with Joe Barrone of Monmouth Building Center and he definitely made my life easier. They were better priced than surrounding stores and I was able to text him things I would need. For larger orders he would even deliver. On the occasions I have to go into the store, everyone is friendly and helpful.

Called to get a paint sample size ($5.99) to finish a job that I ran out of paint for. "Do you have an account with us?" he asked. "No", I said. The guy says "it's in eggshell finish only; what is the product you're using?" "Perfect", I said, "I'm using Regal eggshell". "No, can't do it", he responded. "I guess I'll have to get the Qt. size Regal eggshell; how much is that?" I asked. "$27." he said. "OK, and I'd like to use my the Military discount", I said. ....pause...."Well, I already gave you the Contractor discount; that's better than the Military discount "! Sigh. I still don't know why they couldn't sell me the Sample size paint that I needed, but I'm not going to buy paint according to what they want to sell me. And, either they have a military discount or they don't.
