I saw you discriminate against a disabled employee. Absolutely disgusting. Shame on you.

I love this spot, though many items are out of my budget. I love their juice bar. Employees are always helpful and items come out quickly. Delicious and decently priced.

Honestly, I like the quality of prepared food at the Ocean location, but we were in the area at the Grove plaza, so we went to this location. We got 4 wraps and mine was lentil wrap. When I sat in the car I saw a spider crawling inside ? horrible/disgusting. Luckily i saw the spider and didnt eat it. When I went back to the store I was just told, "we are sorry, you can get another one." However, they didn't have the same wrap, so I had to settle in for whatever was available which was not what I originally wanted.I think just an apology isn't enough when someone finds a spider in the food that you make?. I don't think I'll buy prepared foods at this location again. Also, the staff could be nicer when asked if there was a bathroom to which a female staff member replied that there was only a small bathroom for employees and we could go next door to the World Market. It's not even what she said, but how she said it.

A pretty decent-sized selection of organic and healthy foods. There's a small produce section, deli in the back corner, refrigerator aisle, freezer too, cleaning and personal care products, vitamins and supplements too. Prices on some items can be much higher than the comparable one in a typical grocery store.

Let me preface this by saying I am Latina. I also grew up in a town that has a less than 2% Hispanic population.I’ve experienced discrimination many times and I know how it feels and what it looks like.Every single time that I’ve gone here I’ve been met with a cold attitude when checking out.Where as the nice white woman behind me gets exceptional customer service.I feel very uncomfortable going in there. But that won’t deter me from trying to be healthy.

second time I bought chicken and it was bad!!! so frustrating. i looked at the expiration and it's 7 days from now so there shouldn't be any sort of foul smell to it. it was the farmer's focus chicken. i buy the same brand at other stores and never have an issue. i'm wondering if it's their refrigeration? when I called the first time to complain about it, the manager didn't want to be bothered. He was actually somewhat rude. I callled this time and there was a different person, and they said they would try to look into it. Hopefully they do. In mean time, I'm going to be very hesitant buying any of the meats!

All I can say is I wish it was still Dean's. Out of code sandwiches in the grab in go section. The wrap that I purchased had 2 days left on the code and the cucumber, tomato and Lettuce were Slimy and the wrap smelled Fermented. So the wrap hit the trash. Which is what Green's should have done before they sold it. They tried to tell us they didn't have a bathroom that we would have to use the one next door. I said is that what you do. They said no our bathroom is not for the public. I let them know that if they sell food and have a dine in area they have to provide bathroom facilities to their customers. So they finally let us use the bathroom. Needless to say Green's is nowhere near as good as Dean's. We won't be going back!

I've shopped at this store two or three times a week every week since Dean opened it about 20 years ago. Although Green's continues to carry organic produce and products similar to what was sold when Dean owned the business, the attitude of the majority of the cashiers (most of whom are new to the store) towards customers has taken a huge dive downward since Green's purchased the business several years ago. There are two very helpful and very pleasant cashiers, Layla and Deb, but over the past months I've found the others to be rude, disrespectful and downright antagonistic. I addressed this issue with the store manager several months ago, but it has only gotten worse. Two or three other customers have also mentioned this attitude along with incompetence in their reviews on-line so I would have to conclude that it is a generalized problem. One customer mentioned having been followed around the store by an older male employee with grey hair until he became so uncomfortable that he left without finishing his shopping. Before reaching the register where this same employee was working I picked up a sample left out for customers and ate it. It went down the wrong way so I stood at the register trying to cough it up. Instead of offering to get a glass of water, the employee broke out into laughter. He kept looking at me and then back at the register while continuing to laugh as he processed my purchases. He kept on laughing as I left the store.Although I believe cashiers should bag everyone's order as they always have and as they are paid to do as bagging is part of a supermarket cashier's job duties, I had to ask one cashier (a strong young man) to bag my five items. I appreciate this service as I am elderly with a muscular disorder which makes it impossible for me to move, walk and lift things without pain. His response was the angry retort "I have all this to take care of." as he waved his hand toward the order of the customer behind me who then asked if I needed help. I repeated my request by saying "Thank you for bagging.". He responded with the same answer in an even angrier tone of voice and started pushing the other customer's items down the counter toward my order. When I didn't move out of the way fast enough for him he angrily demanded "Is something wrong?". Long story short: The business I used to give to Green's will now be going to HealthFair, Whole Foods and Delicious Orchards. Their employees are always courteous and helpful and either bag automatically or ask "Can I bag for you?". Really too bad as Dean had something very good going when Green's was Dean's.

What used to be Dean's Natural Food Market is now Green's. The change in ownership has not been for the best. The current owner did away with the hot and cold buffets pictured above saying he didn't make enough money on them. They used to sell very good hot soups but changed the brand. It's not nearly as good and is overcooked to the point of being a bowl of mush. They used to sell organic grilled salmon in the cold take-out section, but it's now farmed. Although there are two very helpful and pleasant employees at the register, my experience since the change in ownership has been that the majority of cashiers (who are new to the store) are rude, unhelpful and unpleasant to deal with. Some even resort to being antagonistic. They seem not to understand that their behavior turns customers off and away. The current store manager also seems not to understand that without customers he doesn't have a business. Having read Ioannis G's review, I have to say that I, too, have had experience with the employee he mentions. Just before reaching the register I took and ate a sample that was put out for customers. It went down the wrong way, and I stood in front of him trying to cough it up. Instead of offering to get a glass of water, this older man with gray hair stood there and laughed. He laughed as he checked me out and continued to laugh as I left the store. I will be taking my business to HealthFair in Little Silver, Whole Foods and Delicious Orchards. HealthFair has the same products but at lower prices every day. Delicious Orchards has a nice selection of organic fruits and veggies. Whole Foods has everything Green's has and more. Not good vibes at Green's!

Jacqui Jacques said in another review that this place was “bought by the devil”. I have no idea what they’re talking about, but if that’s truly the case, well then hail Satan, because this is by far the best health food market in the area. Small enough that it’s easy to get in/out of quickly with a selection that’s better than Whole Foods which is about 10x the size. They just have a few of everything but the shelves are always stocked fully. You can’t go wrong with this place. Oh, and kinda weird but they make you sign your soul over for a club card… but I’m sure that’s nothing…

I was impressed by the variety and quality of products available. The store had a clean and organized layout, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The store carried a wide range of health foods, including fresh produce, organic snacks, and supplements. Everything was clearly labeled with nutritional information and ingredients, making it easy to find what I was looking for. The prices were also reasonable for the high-quality products.

Very good place to shop at and go to however I had a very unpleasant experience with the one of the employees working there an older gentlemen with grey hair kept following me around the store as I was browsing made me feel very targeted and uncomfortable I ended up getting a smoothie and leaving didn't even get to finish my Shopping.
