Gave it a second shot since my first experience was less than what I wanted. Sales staff actually told me that the bathing suits I was looking at probably weren't made for me and I wouldn't find anything in my size. (I was in my 50s and doing parkour training but wearing baggy clothing.) I did find some cute booty shorts and a good bikini. Went back yesterday for a more athletic swimsuit for a water park trip. When I asked if there were matching tops/bottoms, the salesperson said "probably not" without even glancing the rack or checking online. So I left without making a purchase. Is it any wonder online shopping is preferable these days?

Needed help with sizing a wetsuit and the owner was more than helpful in assisting me. I had came from another surf shop locally where i was not assisted and was stuck trying on different brands and sizes for over 2 hours. I was in and out of billabong with a perfect sized wetsuit in 20 minutes. Owner was very knowledgeable and made sure i got what i came for and that was a properly fitting wetsuit. Staff was very friendly and i will definitely go back to billabong. I'd also like to mention how the owner did not try to sell me on the most expensive and bank breaking suit. He found the proper one for me and i was more than happy with the assistance.

I truly wish I can give this 0 stars after my many experiences I have had here. I am 14 years old and don’t condone stealing whatsoever and don’t think it is right. Every time I go to this exact location of a store I am followed around by staff which makes my shopping very uncomfortable and I feel unwelcome every time I walk in. I have always been nice to all staff but asking to look in my bag and following me around the store making assumptions isn’t right and makes me feel as if I shouldn’t show respect because they don’t show it to me. Get your staff in check because I know me and many other younger customers don’t want to give business to a store you doesn’t show respect to the customers because after continuous following and rudeness just isn’t right when I’m trying to shop in peace. Good luck getting nice reviews and getting nice customers because your staff is outrageously mean and rude. Have a nice day.

Had a bad in-store experience-check your receipts! I bought some stuff but realized I was overcharged after leaving the store. I called for credit just minutes later but they said they needed my last name when I offered to provide my last name or receipt number, they declined and said I should’ve given them my last name during the initial transaction & they couldn’t help me by phone have to go in person. I drove back and the manager proceeded to inform me she needed my last name on file to help me out by phone. I got the credit difference, which is good, but the overall experience wasn't great. They didn't apologize for the situation or even take responsibility; their responses made it seem like they were doing me a favor. In fact, they said something like, 'I don't know what stores you go to but in this store, we ask for last names.' Disappointed with the whole experience. And to make matters worse, they hadn’t even asked for my last name during my initial check out with them. What a let down, avoid and shop elsewhere.

At 34 years old I’ve never been asked to leave my purse outside of a dressing room until I came to this store, where the nasty pregnant employee approached me asking me to leave my purse out of the dressing room while countless others were put in dressing rooms and weren’t asked to do the same thing. I walked into the fitting room and thought to myself what the hell and I stormed out and left everything in there, and let her know how unprofessional she and the store are, had my bag been stolen I would have been happy to hold her and the store accountable with a civil lawsuit.

Update: We only purchased that one item. I imagine you are about as surprised as we were when came back to return the brand new item that we were told twice could be returned for a full refund. As a customer I am trusting that what I’m being told by your employee is accurate. For Future buyers, Please disregard employee remarks and read all the fine print. Based on other reviews this place is running a SCAMBUYER BEWARE! I visited this location with my fiancé on July 9th. We were taking a trip later in the week and a swim suit she ordered had not delivered yet so we came here to buy a back up swim suit. When we arrived we spoke with a salesperson and explained that we needed a back up swim suit as one we ordered hadn’t arrived yet and if it does arrive we would return this one. We were told not a problem as long as the tags are on and it’s unworn we’ll take it back. Okay great we found a bikini she liked even though it was way out of our price range ($187). When we get the the register my fiancé reiterates that this bikini might not get worn if the other one comes and we would return it. The girl at the register reply was “don’t worry as long as it’s within 7 days and the tags/liners are on we’ll give you a full refund. My fiancé replied “okay so we’ll get our money back? The cashier replied “yes”. Fast forward 5 days later her other bikini arrived and we return to the store to bring the bikini we purchased back. Tags on, liner on ,it was never even taken out of the bag. When we get to the store we are told swim suit returns are for store credit only even if it’s unworn. We’ll that was a shock to us as we were there just 5 days earlier and specifically asked if we’d get our money back. We ask to speak with manager which we were told she is the manager. We explain our entire first visit and what we were told etc. She tells us that her employees would never say that and we got our money back in store credit and there’s nothing she can do. We explained to her that we were told twice that we would get our money back and that an employee did tell us this. She just kept saying her employees would never say that and that we did get our money back.. in store credit. I understand her having trust in her staff but you should also take ownership when one makes a mistake. I explained to her mistakes happen and we weren’t the ones who made it and she basically told me to leave. It’s not like we were trying to return a worn item months later we returned a brand new item days after purchasing still in the bag that they can put directly back on the shelf. Now we are down $187 as we have a store credit to a place we will definitely never return. Idk the whole situation just wasn’t cool.

Great shop with very kind and helpful staff. They were all so attentive with sizes and helping get swimsuits from higher spots. They have great merchandise and location thank you for all the help.

I really love billabongs clothes but the staff makes you so uncomfortable- specifically the older woman and older man (owner). He is just straight up rude. They watch you as if you are going to steal and give you an attitude if you try on things and don't end up buying them. I would buy so much more if I felt comfortable enough to try it on! With such a strict return policy I don't feel comfortable purchasing to try on at home. It seems like the store must not be doing well if they are harassing their customers like this.
