I have no issues with a store or products. However today I meet such a condescending person, working at the register. She was a middle age, unhappy women. So this message is for you (crew:00291) : there is no reason to treat people poorly, be respectful and maybe life will love you back :)

Madras Cotton Shirts: Ordered online based on the description that material is cotton. I have other cotton shirts from Vineyard Vines and they are good. However this shirt material is extremely thin and see-through. Nearest store from my place is more than 50 miles away, so I ordered online. Fell into trap. Such shirts made in India do not cost more than a dollar as I grew up there and know from experience. So, I decided to go to store and see if I can exchange for something else that I could use, store associate (Short Hills Mall, NJ) was extremely rude!Good-bye Vineyard Vines and wishing for your bankruptcy!!For the readers, shop at Nordstrom, pay little extra but have piece of mind.

Wore a jacket once. It was too small, so I tried to return it, and they refused to take it back. When I pay hundreds of dollars for a jacket, I expect to be able to return it for any reason within a month. Just shop at Nordstrom. Better service for the same prices.

The cashier ran my $50 bill through some bill reader..then proceeded to tell me she couldn't accept it because it was crumpled! I asked for the manager that tried running it again only to be told she would not be accepting the bill SINCE IT WAS POLICY! I asked for the Store Manager which she said isn't here anymore... I expressed how bad it made me and my daughter feel, we are persons of color and I felt it was unnecessary to make me feel bad. The cashier said "we get fake bills all the time, which was very offensive. Maybe they don't care how this made me feel- but they shouldn't decline any customers money. Doesn't this company have better training?

Well located in jersey gardens mall. First timer to this shop. It was good . Ladies garments were good . A little pricey but good .. service is good . Billing could be faster. Parking is a bit crazy here , but lots of parking available . Food courts and other shops here . Nice mall . Overall a good visit

UNETHICALI brought two pairs of VV men's shorts in to the store to be repaired. One pair was 2 mos old and already coming apart at the seams, the 2nd pair was a year old and had a broken zipper. Clearly there is a lack of quality that is not reflected in their pricing. The store called us several days later and told us one pair was ready, but they were unable to repair the other because they do not replace zippers.My husband picked up the shorts at the store, but when he got home we realized the pair with the broken zipper was missing. I returned to the store a few days later and they could not be found. I’ve called a number of times and nobody is able to help me.They were an expensive pair of shorts and although VV chose not stand by their product, I felt it was worth taking them to my seamstress to have the zipper replaced - a very inexpensive proposition compared to what we paid for the shorts and the cost to replace a pair of men’s shorts.It’s upsetting that VV made the decision on their own to discard our property. I would think that a company like yours is aware that clothing and textiles are difficult to recycle and are creating serious land fill challenges, and would be more sensitive than to take a customer’s clothing without asking. I sent them an email about this and their response was to offer me 30% off my next order. So they steal clothing from us and in turn tell me to spend more money at their company?? Are they unaware that there's already a sale going on and I can get 30% off anyway?? Complete neglect of customer service, ethics, and concern for the environment.
