I recently had an experience with The Suite Supply, and while their suits can be rated as OK ( not the best ) but offer value for money, the customer treatment was extremely disappointing. The staff seems to believe they are working for a high-end luxury brand like Louis Vuitton and behave accordingly with a sense of superiority, well... well..well.... in no way it is a luxury brand or product!
During my visit, I noticed several employees chatting among themselves and gossiping and making customers wait for 20 minutes having no respect for customers time. They make most customers wait unnecessarily long while they leisurely finished their conversations with a sense of arrogance, behaving like a typical sales person in a Hermes store, I am not sure if management trains them to behave like that or they assume that customers need to get down to their knees if they want to buy their suits.
Based on my experience, this is not the store for me and nest time I would rather take my business somewhere else.

Showed up on a Saturday needing an everyday suit for a versatile range of events.
Renata helped us and we found a suit quick. Got a houndstooth charcoal grey. Very reasonable pricing for quality fabric suits.
Will bring it to an independent tailor locally, but overall I'm very happy with the value and quality of the suit.
I'm happy to know my sizing and with a local tailor, I can easily order suits from suit supply online in the future...

I recently visited SuitSupply in Short Hills with high hopes of finding the perfect tuxedo for my wedding. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what I expected. I booked an appointment with Michael, given his high reviews on SuitSupply’s website. I was unsure whether I wanted a custom-made look or an off-the-rack suit, and based on the reviews he had, I thought he would be the perfect fit to help me—sadly, I was mistaken. Despite booking a 1 to 1.5-hour appointment, my entire visit lasted only about 30 minutes, and it was a disappointment from start to finish.
One of the first things I noticed was the lack of hospitality—Michael didn’t offer me anything to drink, unlike other customers who seemed to be offered refreshments throughout their appointments. It was a small detail but left me feeling overlooked.
I explained to Michael that I didn’t have a specific style in mind and was open to suggestions, hoping for expert guidance. While he did recommend a fabric based on the season, which I appreciated, the rest of the interaction felt rushed and impersonal. Michael repeatedly emphasized the pricing of the suit, even after I made it clear that I was more concerned with feeling and looking good rather than the cost.
I showed Michael a sample photo as inspiration, hoping to jumpstart the conversation. However, I quickly learned that despite their claim of offering “custom suits,” some aspects couldn’t be modified. When I asked if it was possible to slightly slim the shawl lapel, which looked like two floppy ears at the bottom, Michael dismissed the idea, implying that I would be compromising the masculinity of the suit and making it look more “feminine.” His comment missed the mark- it felt unhelpful and dismissive.
Rather than working with me to explore different options, Michael suggested I go home, study their website (which is ironic given that I booked with him specifically after reviewing their website and his reviews), look up celebrities, and then book another appointment, similar to the one I just had. The lack of attention to detail and the feeling that I was being hurried out the door made the entire experience feel like a waste of time.
For such an important occasion, I expected a lot more from SuitSupply. The experience left me without a tuxedo and with a bad taste in my mouth. I wouldn’t recommend SuitSupply to anyone looking for a stress-free, personalized shopping experience for their big day.
