They do not bill your medical insurance for vaccinations such as flu, shingles, etc. so you will have to pay out of pocket. Go to CVS or similar for your routine shots.

Have used SH Pharmacy for over 30 years. Times change but their friendly service and professional advice has been a reliable constant; thankfully. And, like the bar Cheers, (nearly) everyone knows your name. It's an integral part of our Short Hills community.

I was a very happy, satisfied client here for over 25 years. Unfortunately, the new ownership doesn't offer the same customer service and care. My first experience, which I let slide, was with a flu shot. As a Medicare recipient I have never had a co pay. I went in, the young woman came to the meeting area and after going over things told me there was a $25 co pay. I questioned that and was told the system with Medicare wasn't up and running yet. I thanked her and went to CVS. Just recently I took two prescriptions there on my way home from hospital around 1.30. At 4pm or shortly thereafter I needed my meds, hadn't had any since early morning in the hospital. I was questioned about where did I bring them, well, since you are the only pharmacy on Chatham Rd. where else could I bring them, Brooklyn Pizza? Then they were found still in the store, so someone ran over to pick them up. A non-prescription item was on one of the scripts and that was not included with my meds. I do read English quite well and recognized Colace so I was a tad annoyed when it wasn't included. I was more than a tad annoyed to see a delivery charge on the receipt for that, which they delivered later that day; since it was their error waiving the charge would do a lot for their public relations. I phoned and the young woman told me "they", meaning the prescriber, neglected to add it when they called in. Hospitals do not call in, plus narcotics need original scripts. She added that it was not on the script. See remark above about my reading ability. Recovery from major back surgery is not a walk in the park and I am not wasting my time or the time of someone in the hospital to verify anything. I have been using Liss in Summit for my medical supplies and I just set up an account for future prescription needs. I've heard that some others have not been happy and I hope they take the time to "yelp" as well. A long read, hope you find it helpful.

Small hometown pharmacy that is BIG on customer service! They've recently renovated and reduced the clutter and changed this place around for the better... Quick and efficient at filling prescriptions with professional advice that is informative. I'm very happy to be able to support a small business rather than a large chain. Highly recommend!

I'm all for supporting neighborhood businesses but they should at least try to provide good service. I had a terrible experience where I had to visit them 2-3 times, had to wait for 10-15 min for the pharmacist everytime, they were very rude and in the end charged my card twice!
