I have curly hair and have searched high and low for someone who really gets my hair. I am soo happy I found Aura! She has given me the best cut I’ve ever had! She’s very personable and makes me feel comfortable, I trust her to do what she thinks. Highly recommended Aura and Salon 518.

Great stylists but the worst customer service I have ever experienced. After a botched appointment scheduling (even after repeatedly explaining what services i needed) I was asked to leave rudely (read threateningly) by the manager and receptionist.

Mair has been cutting my hair for years. She is super. Always does a great job and is just a pleasant person. Added bonus is that she is an accomplished musician on the drums.

I am from another country on vacation here. Today i went to this salon for d first time. My niece who lives in chatham and my daughter who lives in morristown recommended me. Iam so happy with d haircut Jennie gave me, just d way i wanted. Thank you Jennie so much for being so wonderful. You made me feel so comfortable...my next vacation i will surely visit you. I was a client on and off for years. I had to cancel my 3:00 appointment in the morning because a fever came on overnight.I apologized to the person working up front and offered to pay for my services in FULL in advance to book for the following week.They told me when I booked they looked into my account I had a lot of cancelations and that the stylest (a new one who does not know me) does not want to take me as a client. I am not allowed back to the salon.Now, here is an idea. Keep a cancellation list; you had more than enough time to fill the spot being you are so busy. If they were accommodating, I could have paid her tip up front!I am a business owner and understand the importance of everyone's time, this is real life, and things happen!This was poor management! Many other salons in Milburn to try out.If you decide to go here, Ina is the best and would not allow this to happen. Unfortunately, she did not provide the service I needed to have done.Services: Gloss or Glaze

Strongly recommended! I've been going to Jenny for my hair for the last two years. She's very thorough, excellent at what she does and I really enjoy talking with her. I've gotten highlights, toning, glazing, roots and haircuts. She's a gem and so happy we have a great saloon like 518 in our town.

Been going here for a few years now and I must say, This place is inconsistent. I got the worst attempt at balayage I've ever seen. It looked like my hair was pulled through an old skool cap that was used for highlights, It was super streaky and looked terrible. I'm not going back anymore. Giving an extra star because the hair cuts are usually decent.
