Spacious rooms, nice indoor pool, and gym. Friendly staff, restaurants are nice, food a little overpriced. Great location off 78 and across from the short hills mall. The executive lounge is nice but not open on the weekends. Towels are very linty..

Our meeting lasted until one but drinks were taken away prior to 11am or noon. Wish they left it there till at least 1230pm.

This is not a nice hotel, and I would never stay here again and caution anyone looking to book here. Save your money book anywhere else! The entire hotel hasnt been maintained well and hasn't been updated in what seems like over a decade most likely longer. Rooms are old and dirty, bathrooms were dirty, not maintained, small and the showers are gross with mold/mildew, have no water pressure/ with the water spray you barely get wet, found broken and torn lamps, peeling and bubbling wall paper, torn and broken curtains, the door to get into the room is open at the bottom with out a flush seal to the floor, not only can you hear everyone pass by but its a safety issue. I had to change rooms 3 times, first because of a broken ac unit, second because the room wasn't clean and the bed linens were dirty and had holes. The worst part is that they charge exorbitant prices too. The parking situation makes bringing in your bags or getting to your car a hike and the parking lot was extremely sketchy. I had to stay here because it was the hotel our wedding party booked but I really wish we would have gone anywhere else, I couldn't have left quick enough and even left early from the original days I booked and stayed some where else the rest of my stay. Don't stay here and waste your money, there are so many nicer hotels in the area. Avoid this place at all costs.
Rooms: Disgusting, old, not updated.
Walkability: Not walkable, only walkable to the mall across the street and that's taking your life in your hands

Service was terrible. Booking a room and obtaining reservations for my boss should not be this difficult. Plus overcharging my company card with so many loopholes to get my money back or a folio for proof.

This Hilton may be the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. I'm not exaggerating when I say the amenities (for example, a bathroom sink broke, no microwave, broken iron, TV only gets 10 basic channels) are less than a Motel 6 room. So don't let the lobby area fool you - it's a facade. Deserves zero stars.

I was thoroughly satisfied with the room and our one-night stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The staff was courteous and helpful, and I would definitely recommend this hotel.

WORST EXPERIENCE AND RUINED BIRTHDAY
Booking is unclear: hidden fees, no information about breakfast (is it included or not), no information about pools. We paid ~360$ for ONE NIGHT, and expected from Hilton high standards.
Breakfast is a disaster. 8 dollars for concentrated watery juice??? I was shocked. The worst coffee i ever had. Never seen this kind of prices in any hotel we stayed in.
I don't understand why people give this hotel 4-5 stars. Rooms are pretty old and doors are always stuck, anytime it was super hard to open. We stayed for my birthday in September, it was 84 degrees outside and the pool was already closed.
There is no territory outside to walk and hangout. They have a lounge at rooftop, but its not a rooftop. It's in the lobby. And even there, we could not sit outside because of the private event. The whole point why we chose this hotel was a location with a lot of greens and outside pool. And all we could do was sit in the room and look at Macy's across the highway. Fantastic. Such a waste of a total 450$

They checked us into a room with a full size bed, rather than King size - as we paid for. Then had the audacity to lie to our faces and tell us that the small bed in our room is a King Size. Absolutely absurd. Never book here.

Nice spacious, comfortable rooms. Large bathrooms and good shower. No body wash provided. The location was the only real negative to this place. If you do not have a car, there are no decent food options without ordering delivery. There is a great rental car facility onsite, though

Probably the nicest hotel in the general area - conveniently located right across the street from the most gorgeous, high-end mall! We ate in the lounge/restaurant....service was fairly slow but they had live music and the best shoestring fries with beer cheese!! I always recommend this place to people that are visiting...it's a step above a standard hotel.
Noteworthy details: The parking is a bit confusing. You enter the underground parking garage that's just beyond the main hotel entrance and follow the signs to the lowest level. Tight corners so be careful!

I booked a room at this hotel almost four months in advance for a wedding, expecting a smooth and enjoyable stay. However, when I arrived to check in, I was informed that they had no room for me due to a burst pipe. To make matters worse, they had no other rooms available. I was left scrambling to find a place to stay and ended up having to sleep on the floor in a friend’s room.
They promised me a room the next day with priority check-in. Not only was the room not ready until 2 PM, but I also had to get dressed for the wedding in someone else's room, adding unnecessary stress to an already chaotic situation.
To top it off, the hotel manager assured me that my stay for the night would be comped due to all the inconvenience. But guess what? I later received an email with a receipt showing a comped room for one night, only to find out I was still charged for the other night! This hotel is an absolute disaster when it comes to managing wedding bookings. They clearly overbook and have no regard for their guests’ well-being.
Avoid this place at all costs—save yourself the stress and frustration! The hotel staff is uninterested in helping guests and their so-called "priority" service is a joke. Never again!

we were very disappointed to go back to this hotel ... it is really not as it used to be !
Kisha at the reception desk did not even greet us ! for a Hilton hotel standard !! very rude ... we showed up with our luggage and kid and she was " name and reservation number" .. no Hi ..or good afternoon... or even a welcome ? we were chocked
and whatever issues with our room ... "oh please talk to my manager he will assist you"!!!!! (the manager was more kind tbh)
becareful about hidden fees such as the parking ..etc.. these new policies will not make you happy believe me
I suggest Hilton put minimum effort and required resources to train their staff as it should be ... to meet Hilton standards !!!

Very nice hotel. You can tell it’s older but it’s kept up. Beautiful lobby and staircase. Under ground parking. Rooms are large and very nice. Great lounge bar area.

I recently checked out after staying at the Hilton for my daughter's 12th birthday party, and the experience was quite disappointing. Initially, the night shift front desk employee, who I believe goes by an "A" and is shorter in stature, was very rude and unwelcoming. Despite this, I tried to move past it and focus on settling in and organizing the kids.
We then encountered several issues with the room. The door to Room 227 was extremely difficult to open; the bellman had to use his weight to force it open, and he mentioned that it was sealed after cleaning, which was unclear. Additionally, the bathroom door was problematic, getting stuck several times and causing frustration as the door knob fell off repeatedly, trapping kids inside.
The housekeeping staff also provided a poor experience. When I requested fresh towels and asked the front desk to arrange for the dirty ones to be removed, the staff member who arrived was visibly annoyed. She handed over the towels without any greeting and responded rudely when I asked her to take the dirty towels, stating she would only remove them at checkout. While still not removing them!
While Keyshia at the front desk was exceptional—apologizing profusely and offering a late checkout as well as other things which was greatly appreciated. The overall experience was marred by the other issues. Despite Keyshia's efforts, the negative experiences overshadowed my daughter's special day and left me feeling that the service fell short of professional standards, because good service should be the standard. I shouldn’t have to leave feeling uneasy from somewhere I spent my hard earned money at.
