“Store is good. Mall is BAD! Not maintained, pot holes and unlandscsped. Looks like the building is not being maintained-purposely. It's a mess all around b&n, and appears to attract an unsafe element. Closed at 7:00pm but they locked the gates to the rest of the mall before 6:00. That says it all. I won't be back there.”
“Great used book store in Madison! I love collecting vintage books and they had a wide variety across different price points. I was able to buy four beautiful books from the 1800s for $45. Will definitely visit again!”

“Who doesn't love a bookstore! Thank goodness BN still exists! Otherwise, I would not be able to share my love of books and bookstores with my grandchildren. The best part for all of us (well, for me) is the toy section (telescopes, microscopes, you name it, it's there). The Grands also loved the children's book selections.
I must also mention the staff! They were very helpful and pleasant. In a world where customer service is almost nonexistent, I must give compliments where they are due! Please keep up the good work and great customer service!

“Love the convenience of this location. Plenty of parking and attached to a mall if you've had your fill of books for the day. Although staff is sometimes hard to locate, they are always very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend the cinnamon raisin bagel (toasted of course) with cream cheese - delicious!”

This local store has a personal touch, if they don’t have it, they will order it. I’ve run into the owner delivering books to elderly customers that are home bound. “Really nice store! It's huge! It's a little overwhelming, but in a good way. One of the workers said, "You either have to come with something in mind or have some time to spare." I had some time to spare and spent an hour just walking around. They have used books as well as new books. The vinyl section was really cool. Records from well-known artists as well as some lesser known artists. It's just a really cool place. I ended up buying a vinyl and a book! I'll be back!”
“Disclaimer: not a student but I attended a conference for my high school students on the campus. Clean and beautiful campus and very nice architectural surroundings. However, I can't rationalize the price tag of this school and would suggest looking at state schools to stretch those academic dollars.”

“Prices are high on basic goods as expected and the variety of brands per object is limited. Again, being a campus book store, this is expected. Oddly, they don't have basic necessities like milk, laundry detergent, or bleach (3rd is understandable).”

The book info desk was decent I asked for all the books on my course list and for some reason they kept asking if I would buy everything even after I already said I would. But no big deal. The supply section also had everything I needed to start my semester. The cashier was also great and helpful. Last but not least the 50 percent off holiday books in the new year was great too!”
