Not only a beautiful collection of light fixtures and related merchandise in the store -- and even more in catalogs that very helpful store associates can help navigate -- but UNPARALLED customer service after the sale is made. When I attempted to replace a light bulb in a now discontinued fixture I purchased at L&SW 5 years ago (April 2018), I discovered that the supplied tool needed to take the fixture apart to replace the bulb was nowhere to be found. A call to the manufacturer was useless. I then called L&SW hoping for some guidance or idea on how to solve this problem. I spoke to Lorraine, who could not have been more patient or sympathetic. I know that she had several phone calls with the manufacturer and finally arranged for them to send me a replacement tool at no charge. I've purchased several lovely light fixtures and ceiling fans from L&SW -- all good experiences -- but this level of customer service is unfortunately not so common anymore and really sets L&SW apart and above the competition. Highly recommend!

Lamp & Shade Works in Sewel NJ is a fantastic store. Their service is amazing. I took 4 lamps for new shades. Victor spent time with me. Made suggestions for lampshades. Installed new harps, a socket and extended a brass rod on my lamps. It's been a long time since I had this type of service (maybe in the 60's). If you have any lighting issues, I recommend you go to the Lamp and Shade Works store.

On Saturday afternoon I dropped off a living room table lamp that I love and have probably owned for 40 + years. The man who spoke to me at the desk, showed me where the socket showed burn damage and quoted a $20.00 cost to repair it. He could see I was a bit nervous about leaving it and told me they would take good care of it. On Monday morning at 10:30 I got a call that it was repaired and ready for pick up! AMAZING! I also purchased some very useful 3 way bulbs for my lamps at home. I was so pleased at their prompt service and excellent customer service!

My wife and I found the perfect pendant light for our kitchen. They have a huge inventory and were able to ship to me in a couple of days. Very friendly staff and great pricing. Do yourself a favor and check these guys out as you won’t be disappointed!

Beautiful, high quality selection in store. Almost an overwhelming amount of choices on their website. Pricing is competitive with "big box" stores and I'd rather shop small!

I have a pair of floor lamps that are 20 years old and both stopped working over the last few months. Took them in to Lamp & Shade Works, fixed with new sockets in a couple of days for just $40!I decided to refresh the shades and got amazing help from one of the salespeople (SO sorry I didn't catch her name). She spent more than 30 minutes with me and multiple trips back to the warehouse to find me a matching pair that I liked. Fast and inexpensive, GREAT customer service, excellent selection. I'll be back to get new sconces for my front door.

I had a wonderful experience at this store. They ordered a light for me when we updated our powder room. It was shipped to my house since we live in PA. I had a problem with the glass portion of the fixture. I called the store and spoke to Kelly she offered to have a replace glass sent out without right away, no hassle at all. This is the kind of customer service that keeps consumers coming back. My powder room came out great and the light fixture is the perfect style to finish the room.

This place is awesome. My mom was able to find lamp shades and able to get her favorite lamps repaired. The turnaround on the repairs was unbelievably fast. The customer service was great. Everyone who took care of us on our visits was professional, polite and friendly. The prices are very reasonable.
