We had a great experience touring Next Secaucus with Dawn Samouhos. Despite it being close to the end of her workday on a Sunday, Dawn was incredibly welcoming and accommodating as we walked in for a tour. She took her time to show us around and answered all of our questions with patience and professionalism. Her friendly demeanor and thorough knowledge made the experience enjoyable and stress-free.
Highly recommend working with Dawn if you're considering Xchange at Secaucus!

The reviews are correct concerning the staff: Leticia, Erika, Cherise and the maintenance leadership, Isaiah and Luis are wonderful. However, we (tenants) as a whole have widely agreed that there’s a severe reduction of services. The standout in decline including shuttle service, common area decorum, concierge hours, and a few more. It’s understandable that during Pandemic protocols, we had to have those cutbacks, but now there are many inconveniences. In the past month, I’ve had to call Uber 3 times because shuttle drivers arrive late in the mornings. Not a serial complainer but it has gotten to a place where we had to share some grievance.

Don't rent here! Not worth the cost and definitely anything but luxury. Advertised as doorman buildings but now barely ever see the doorman due to cutbacks. Advertised shuttle service which you are required to pay for, and now only 1 shuttle running and frequently unreliable.
Walls are thin, mgmt never cleans the dirty hallways, maintenance is slow, aggressive emails to demand tenants do things so they could charge more. If you charge high prices for a complex in middle of nowhere you better provide the amenities to justify it.

I’ve had the pleasure of residing at Xchange for 7 years, and I can’t speak highly enough about Leticia. Her dedication, professionalism, and attention to detail have made my experience truly outstanding.

The worst customer service you can get with Middlesex Management, which is the one managing this property. They hang up ur phone rudely and never listen to you. If you could find other options, don’t come here.

Update: July 20 2024 (more fees & rent increases while at the same time removing a lot of services & amenities 1 by 1)
New residents get 1 month free but old residents get rent increases & mandatory shuttle fee now. Our rent increase $75 per month (for 2b1b), then $25 for shuttle & its mandatory now. (we barely use shuttle were WFH; shuttle use to run Monday to Saturday & now ONLY til Friday & constantly late). On top of all this, our building concierge has been automated by a bad application-- they use to be available all day & you can actually talk to them at night now its 11am only til 7pm.
We're on a 2 bedroom & was looking to transfer to one bed to save money this year and guess what? We have to re-apply to the unit. This means a new non refundable $300 move in fee, non-refundable $50 per person on lease application fee (that's $100 cuz lease is under 2 person), $50 inspection fee, $35 key deposit, $500 non-refundable fee per pet (we have two) on top of $75 pet rent per month.
This place literally charge so much fees & removes amenities one by one each year. Also keep in mind we paid these fees moving into our unit the first time already. We did the math & were only saving 2k per year if we move to a new downsize unit.
April 2024: I’m a current resident, ever since they switch companies on the shuttle— the white shuttles are consistently late. It’s been like this since march 2024. It use to be 4mins ish wait, now it’s more than 40minutes and nothing ?♀️ I usually come out 11:20am and there were instances where it’s 12pm and nothing came by so I just walked. What a giant waste of time. Don’t advertise the shuttle ends at 12pm when in reality it ends at 11:15am. It’s been super unreliable. On top of that it’s been raining a lot. 40mins in the rain is unacceptable. Literally have 0 other issues in my unit or management but whoever is managing the shuttles — it hasn’t been great.

I can't say enough good things about Leticia! She is simply the best and always so helpful. Every time I see her, she has a big smile on her face that brightens up my day. Leticia is a pleasure to be around, and I truly enjoy seeing her every day. She goes above and beyond to assist others and makes the environment a much happier place. They give ridiculously high renewal rates for old residents and offer discount on new residents. When you ask why, they are extremely rude and impatient for your request. I think everyone should move out when the lease ends and left them empty room.
