They treat their employees very unfair. Do not care about employees who show up to work. Change schedules with people who have children. A long with others who don't. Don't make exceptions. I guess temp people can mess up things. Wake up Hr at the vitamin shop. Why make them go in at 7 am instead of 7:30. Daycare does not open at 6. What's wrong with exceptions and how job loyalty.

I worked for their canton store 655 and just quit yesterday. Take it from a recent employee, this company sucks, don’t shop here, they don’t care about the customers and especially not their employees. Everyone that works for the canton store quits because the district manger Donna is terrible and expects more out of everyone than they get back. They HATE promoting anyone, and they do everything in their power to prevent overtime, including closing the store if someone calls out instead of paying another employee overtime to cover. I worked there for a few months as a key holder and knew just about everything there was to know, I spent $30-$40 A DAY getting there and back because I live 20mins away and don’t drive. I was committed to my job so when the ASM quit because he was tired of the place, I inquired about the ASM position. The district manger Donna as well as their new store manager Brian (because the old store manager quit too) straight up IGNORED ME and hired someone else as ASM instead. Then the new ASM starts bossing me around after he’s only been there for 3 days and I still know more than he does, smh. I quit because I will not deal with disrespect. Ontop of that, today I wake up to see that Brian the store manager had CANCELLED the sick hours I used a few days ago when I had called out for being sick! How do u cancel someone’s sick hours?? Especially when u had already approved it ahead of time and now ur just mad because I quit!?Go to GNC or ANYWHERE else, don’t give this company ur money. I hope to see them shut down in the future.

I’ve been a customer for years.To be told that there was nothing they could do about how my order was delivered…. Because they have 6 different carriers!!! I was beyond disappointed and angry! Who throws anyone item on the edge.

Don't bother using Vitamin Shoppe. I was a customer for 10 years, always ordering online and never had issues. But most recent order was difficult to follow with the tracking number. According to the tracking the package was moved through different shipping orgs (Lasership and OnTrac) and after 6 days still have not delivered my probiotic and vitamins. Very unusual. So I spoke with customer service through Vitamin Shoppe chat and they did not have any answers. The most recent post on the OnTrac website told the products were expected to be delivered 8/22/23. Did not arrive. Now posts say items should be delivered 8/23/23 (today). It's 7 days later at 4:30pm and still nothing. My main concern is the quality of the products once they arrive. It's 90 degrees every day...was my package with probiotics and vitamins turned to garbage by sitting on some loading deck or in the back of some truck for days? And this makes me wonder if I should also assume the products in my local stores were mishandled during shipping as well? Quality is obviously not a concern at Vitamin Shoppe any longer. I'll share this with everyone I know.

Horrible customer service! My package came destroyed due to their poor packaging. Liquid Turmeric destroyed my entire package of products, my carpet, my floor and and sink. And they hung up on me 2x when I tried to call about my refund and then told me since I got rid of the package then I must have my bank handle it. No one told me to NOT throw out a box covered and pouring out liquid so I threw it out and waited for my refund that never came. For some reason, I can't post pics on this review but believe me when I say it was a mess and Turmeric sticks to everything. I have spent 1000s on vitamin shoppe over the years....but no more. I'll be going to gnc or a grocery store. Don't shop here!

I was happy purchasing on auto delivery after a store manager fixed my account. But now the auto delivery system is taking money from my account for auto deliveries that don't exist. When it was supposed to be reversed, it wasn't. Their solution is to receive it then manually bring it back to their store and get a refund of 83.xx dollars. That 83 dollars was going to other bills that I was going to pay. This is unacceptable. When I chatted with them for a manager, they ended the chat session. I called corporate, and they routed me back to customer care, who are incompetent to handle my request. They repeatedly say the same information like a robot. I will not be doing any more business with them.There is a girl there who helped me months later. She won back my business. However, I won't use auto delivery again.

The service in Taylor S.C. is horrible. They seem uncomfortable when black people enter the store. They literally follow u around like a lion about to attack its prey. I had to tell guy " leave me alone ". Then they start stocking the shelves with no products. Only to follow you around. I really don't believe they hire black people. I haven't seen any. But they want our money. The prices are ridiculously high. And now they charge for bags. As a black person we do not walk out the store without our products In a bag. Ken's and KARENs like to accuse black people of stealing. With all the money you spend on one 1 item should at least get a bag for free. The atmosphere needs to change. The manager posions his crew with a racist atmosphere or they comes in automatically inserted with that poison. A bulling atmosphere. I just laugh at them.

As a small gym owner, I use the Deerfield store to buy protein drinks, energy drinks, which amounts to about $400-$500 a month.I walked in today, girl sitting there doing absolutely nothing. (On her cell phone.)I asked for a cart, which I always use to grab my numerous cases, so I don't walk back and forth to counter or my truck when loading.'We have hand carts only.""No, I mean the carts you guys use to stock the shelves with.""They're all loaded up.''Listen, I own a gym, I'm about to purchase a large order."She could care less.I walked out, not believing what just happened.If I owned that store and a employee treated a good customer like that, I'd want to know.Tried calling corporate, #'s out of order.I'll never step foot in your business anywhere ever again.It did make sense when I saw the 2.3 stars.Nobody cares, it starts at the top.It's called, "training."I have an extremely large following, and I will go out of my way to make sure no one I know does trade with this horrific company.

I have contact your shipping department several time in about my order that on June 8/10 and all I get is lies. it was shipped to wrong address & it was shipped to a business plus Fex said no onewas home at business to sign ? I leave in my home not a business, as of today I was told that my order was returned to Vitamin 06-27-2022 and I would not get my order nor would I be compensated for anything . So unfair to me as a customer that has been in your local store Fayetteville NC and shopped and have order online in the past . Attention corporate head quarters. I have know dealings with The Vitamin Shop Organization. I know some people that work in your warehouse in Hanover County, Va. just north of Ashland, Va. I saw your top executive on Under Cover Boss. She said one of her top concerns was to make working for the company a less pressured environment. I’v heard of some of the problems at the Hanover, Va. location. I’ve heard that working in the warehouse there is such a pressured packed operations and how just that environment have affected some of your employees health. Upper management I’m sure have not received this info. While I’m not talking down about your company one thing I do know is, when you give employees promotions from the floor you can’t expect them to be successful if the supervisor above them don’t give them the proper training. Than when they don’t preform up to managements expectations you are ready to terminate them and the employee don’t have know protection or know one that they can trust to talk to. If your organization is concerned about your employees, I suggest your meet with your newly promoted employees asap soon as possible. You may be very surprised as to what you find out. Thank you!

Several years ago, I told the district manager/Michigan that one of their women's multi vitamins had @/more than 1000 IU vitamin D. "The Real Vitamin and Mineral Book" written by a doctor and nutritionist, with thorough studies, says over 1000 IU/day can cause possible irreversible damage to organs such as heart, kidney, lungs and vascular system. I noticed no changes in that product for several years. Recently, their sales promotion shelved right in the front door has vitamin D3 at 2000 IU.After spending several hundred dollars, as I do multiple times per year @ this company, I was told I still cannot use the bathroom. Their customers should not be treated this poorly when their hard earned dollars are supporting their business.
