People here are always helpful. 95% of their tool are perfect working condition. Every now and then you hit a dud. But never fear, they will replace it and not charge you the time. But dont abuse the tool they'll know.

June 29th, 8pm Had four keys that were not made correctly, none of them works for the lock. The key guy shouldBe fired.waste me $20 to get there, and $12 for the keys. He seems to be not want to work. He should not be there if he work with such attitude.

Inventory system sucks and they have no idea where the stuff is located. Shows over 100 items in stock and nobody knows where. How the heck do you sell stuff if the customer or the employees can’t or don’t care to find it!

The process to rent a van was so fast and no issues, was able to find a van to rent and pick up my furniture, leave the van back, all in less than 75 mins. I recommend this place.

So I came into the store today and usually I can find everything on my own because I have experience with hardware. However, the worker Christina was walking around slowly trying to do no work. So then I figured what the heck I can't find my product and asked her where it was and instantly she directed me to another employee. Fine no problem. But the problem was that I turned and looked at her not on purpose I was just looking around and she goes "why are you looking at me for what are you looking at." First of all, you are rude right away to me and did not want to help forcing a colleague to assist and then she continues to be nasty. Just saying that is not the type of employee you want to have.

This location is getting one star because, unfortunately, I can't give them zero. I can't fathom how they manage to mess up the most basic of tasks. Even more frustrating is their lack of courtesy and ownership in the face of these mistakes. I am re-doing my house and went here and ordered 4 doors. Every door was IN STOCK. This is how I picked them. Staff was courteous and helpful and gave me a delivery date with a 14 hour delivery window (6am-8pm). The day came and I waited. Nobody showed up. I called customer service and they told me the delivery date was moved to three days later. No one had the courtesy to tell me. I took a day off work for this. They also told me the Secaucus store didn't have the doors I purchased in stock (again, I picked them there, they were in stock, and the department was tagging them as I left). They are now coming from Jersey City and North Bergen stores. That said, now my work on my home is delayed. I have to take another day off work, which is another problem. When I called for help, I was basically told "We don't know what to tell you. They're coming Friday." No professionalism, no pride, no courtesy. These folks can't even take something that is in stock and get it onto a truck without messing it up. Lowe's in East Rutherford has delivered to me several times without a single issue. It's a joke. Now I'm out two days of work and the work on my home is held up because the job relies on having the doors. Update: only one door arrived on delivery day. Home Depot alleged to have sold the rest by mistake. Now the delivery was pushed back another 5 days. They also alleged that they could not get the one door and it is out of stock everywhere. Unacceptable. Went to the store personally and found that they had ALL of my doors on the shelf. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm embarrassed for them. They are incompetent here. That said, my contractor is now picking up the doors because I don't want to try on the store. Nothing but wasted time and lost money for over a week.

Most Home Depot's are all a little different across the country. This one in Secacaus is the filthiest I've ever seen. The parking lot is always littered with trash...it's disgusting...all it takes is to hire one or two people to sweep the parking lot or simply pick up the trash...it's disgusting. Have some pride for Gods sake.

Kitchen renovation secaucus: it seemed like they knew what they were doing at first. So we decided to go with their service. Unfortunately when it came down to the order. The person helping me by the name of Robert didn't do his work. I was stuck with not having a kitchen for about a month. Because the order was placed without having had a pre-inspection. I had to call myself the people who were installing which is done through another company. The company didn't have the information, which Robert failed to send. His excuse was he had personal emergencies, nobody else seem to be able to help. Though I did receive an apology. I feel it's important that people know the process. At this time it's been almost a year And the cabinets paint is coming off. I called about two months ago and still haven't been able to resolve.

Although we live close to this Home Depot, I finally decided "enough" yesterday. We bought a toilet and because my husband is in his 70s, we asked the cashier if someone could help us load it into our car. We were willing to pay for this service. The cashier made a call. Twenty minutes later, nobody had shown up. I decided to go over to Customer Service to ask them if they could page somebody. They looked at me with such annoyance, ignored me, and when I asked again, one of them picked up the phone, paged somebody and then slammed down the phone. Meanwhile, a guy walks into the store with only one shoe on, and half his belly hanging out, from under a ripped undershirt, and he starts careening around the store. Nobody ever came to help us. This store is everything a store shouldn't be; unhelpful, nasty attitudes, slow, almost non-existent service, poor lighting, poorly run individual departments - the whole place just feels like it's exhausted and its time has passed. I realize Home Depot pays notoriously low wages, so probably I would be angry if I worked there as well. The whole place just reeks of misery and low morale. We will never go back.

This home depot has absolutely nothing except a 1 star review. There was no staff members to help you with anything. I went in and asked a staff member for some help and they didnt know how to help me with it. I asked if it was possible to redirect me to someone who knows what I want but they didnt understand me. Highly not recommended. This home depot unfortunately is lacking training of staff and overall staff!

This store is a complete joke and this is coming from an employee. Management is awful! Pay for freight is a joke. No point in asking for help because you will never get it. Please don't waste your time coming here.
