My mother went to this branch and told me she had a horrible experience. she felt miserable because no body in the bank wanted to help but the bank teller. Regardless, the bank teller could not help so when they finally did get someone to help they gave her attitude.

I have been using this bank for years. I've never had any negative experiences like other reviewers report. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. They always work with professionalism. At times, limited numbers of tellers can cause a line to form, which can be inconvenient. However, each time this has occurred while I was there, they open another teller up to move things along faster. They try their best to accommodate the customers and remedy such things during the times I've experienced it. Overall, will continue my banking here.

I asked to deposit cash and get a certified check to separate transactions. The teller immediately gave me a certified check for the cash deposit charge me for the check. I had cancel and re-deposit the check get another certified check for the amount actually need it was charged again for the certified check and was told I can’t be refunded for the original price of the check even though it’s not what I asked for then they told me it was because of my bank account type.Essentially, I was charged for the tellers mistake

They are very professional to deal with customers. Kathy the branch manager are always helping their staff. Thumbs up!

I walk into the office at 11:30 am on 3/30/22 and was informed that the manager is unavailable( did not come in) . "Shocked" as I was that the manager was not there AGAIN, I spoke to the assistant manager. The assistant manager has no clue of my multiple complaints made. I asked her why the manager didn't reply to the email from 2 days ago. She replied by stating that she was very busy with multiple customers and 2 conference calls. At the time that I walked in there was one customer being attended to and the whole bank was virtually empty and dark. I explain my whole story and the assistant manager doesn't seem to understand my story. At the end of the conversation, in which I clearly stated i have been banking ONLY with you for 7 years and can't go to another bank to pay my bills to avoid interest; her response is which bank ATM card did you use. In frustration I said Capital One. I said, I just mentioned my TD bank card was sucked and I am asking you for a new card. Why would I come and ask you for a TD debit card if my capital one bank card was sucked up. She appeared like a deer in a headlights. Ignorant and unwilling to help. All she told me was she cannot do anything for the inconvenience of 2 days, my missed wages and my incurred interest. She told me she does not service the ATM and that they will call guardia to service them. I asked her if she would like me to call them to get a response about why it took so long to get serviced and she stayed silent almost as if implying that maybe I should do that. She gave me an ATM card and informed that somebody else had complained about the machine that morning and that they had already placed a technician order to service that. She knows for a fact that it was working when she left; because she was able to withdraw money the day before. Miserable, I come home only to receive a call the assistant manager, 3 hrs later, to inform that she has placed another call and was informed that the machine was repaired at 10:30 pm last night and there was nothing they could do for my lost CAPITAL ONE card. I can't believe how clueless this women is. She then proceeds to argue with me, that she has witness that say I had capital one card; without the logic that I would not ask for TD debit card if my capital one card was sucked in. At this point I am livid; I told her that she is incompetent and all that staff at secaucus were a bunch of headless chickens who have no real clue on how to help people and are in a vicious cycle of blaming it on each other. Customer service told me to speak to the local bank to understand compensation for lost wages. The bank said there is nothing she can do and good luck. The assistant manager starts to get hostile stating she doesn't appreciate me calling her names. I ask what names. She says I called her incompetent. I told her that's an understatement but if she is so hurt maybe i should send her flowers and I would have; had I not lost a days wage to come to the bank with no clear resolution except that I got another card. I hung up the phone telling her I don't want to speak to her. I couldn't tolerate as She kept on repeating that she is trying to help me by giving me an update and that technical errors cannot be blamed on the bank. I said I would have been more appreciative had the call been received 24 hrs earlier; had I not missed my wages and had I not incurred interest. I agree that ATMs can malfunction but 2 ATMS at the same time is not acceptable. I agree that anything is possible, working in healthcare, but nothing being done after 24 hrs of me filing a complaint not even a reply email or an acknowledgment. The bank had no clue I had filed two complaints against them at the time of me walking in. The staff at the secaucus branch is extremely careless and inconsiderate of their customers. They raise their hands saying there is nothing they can do as they have no control and blame it on a non existent manager who is never there and doesn't reply to emails. The bank never has enough tellers to handle its customers. And the majority of customers are conducting cash transactions. The branch needs better customer service.

I have had this bank for 6 years and it’s Worst bank ever their phone verification never works correctly, they always miss inform people about what they are doing with your account then will charge you random fees. The direct deposit always has problems. Their online banking app always has problems it’s just horrible worst bank go to chase, capital one or Santander.
