“Artist & Craftsman store for years— I’ve been so happy to find that the Williamsburg location offers the same level of warmth and kind customer service! Taylor and Abdiel helped me find some leather paints this week, Bryn and another associate (whose name is escaping me, sorry) helped me with spray paint/acrylics recently as well. Everyone was so patient and they never make me feel annoying for asking advice about the products. I will keep coming back, because the experience reminds me of home :) also the music always slaps. 10/10”

And what an improvement given the various choices she offered . And with a guarantee to come back if it fails/falls off.Def will be back with other beads in my vast collection. “Great resource you can get almost anything here. I like that you can buy singles of things like specific pencils or brushes. Usually online you have to buy them in packs. Even if you just go in and look around you can often find something new that you want to try.”
“Love book stores which are virtually a relic of the past. A nice place to spend some time browsing titles. I was looking for books for our grandchildren. I noticed it was a draw for some neighborhood seniors as a place to cool off on a hot summer day while reading up on some titles.”

“Tannen's shop is magical. Anyone who has made it to the 6th floor at number 45 and to door 608 will end up in a paradise for magicians. Hundreds of tricks are waiting behind the large counter to be demonstrated and purchased. There is also a whole library of magical literature on the shelves.”
“After finding this store online several years ago, and talking cross-country to Jimmy several times - it was such a joy to come and spend an hour or more looking at and trying multiple pens my husband and I were considering. “It’s a dime in a dozen to find a unique shop like this in New York. It truly is wonderful that there are beautiful shops like this one dedicated to crafts like knitting and sewing. I was in complete awe when I entered this shop. Everything was so beautiful! I loved all the rainbow of colors of the fabrics and yarn. I loved there was wall to wall of yarn in so many vibrant colors. I spent a lot of time looking at the fabrics and their beautiful colors and patterns. I was imagining all the projects I can for my home using all those fabrics. I loved that the shop had cute items for home decor. The shop even had all the tools needed for sewing and knitting. From scissors to thread to measuring tape. I also spent a lot of time looking at the sewing books and project books the shop carries. The shop offers all kinds of sewing and knitting classes. The best thing about this shop is that everything is excellent quality. Everyone should visit this shop.”
