It’s a great little place at the north end of the Sea Girt boardwalk. Nice place to sit and enjoy lunch or a snack during your day at the beach.

If you're looking for a boardwalk and other amusements, this is NOT the beach for you. However, it is one of the most chill beach spots I've ever visited along the Jersey coastline. I love walking the beach to check out the rear ends of those multi-million dollar homes. Hubba Hubba!

The beach was nice, the boardwalk was clean and the attendant I was talking to was an absolute sweet lady. Now the Pavilion had some of probably the best tasting tacos I have had here in NJ and that’s a statement I do not make lightly. Definitely recommend checking them out. Plus a really awesome military discount!

During Covid of Summer 2020, I couldn't get my seasonal beach badges at Spring Lake due to them limiting the number of badges being sold. I was able to get seasonal badges for Sea Girt. Although I'm so appreciative of being able to enjoy the beach season, going to Sea Girt Beach was very difficult. The parking is terrible and almost impossible to find a spot even going early. You have to park blocks away and even then it is a challenge and a very long walk. There is small concession stand at the Pavilion and there are no playgrounds. The water is clean, but the sand is not as clean as Spring Lake or the surrounding beaches. Sea Girt has their historic lighthouse built in 1896 right across from the Pavilion which you can tour April - November on Sundays from 2-4pm.
