Summer 2018PROS- great location re: proximity to the beach and town- great views/sunsets from the water- floating docks though dilapidated- lower rates than many of the other marinas (for a reason)- plenty of parking (tho owner will literally chase your guests if you're not around to greet them)CONS- no amenities other than a restroom, not even a soda or ice machine- restroom lights were usually out, doors propped open all night, and not cleaned daily from what we can tell . . . my little niece accidentally left her bathing suit on the shower stall floor, and i found it there four days later- owner has deal with local dock crew, who use the marina to move piles and other dock equipment onto their barge, which, on occasion, hangs around overnight, doing very little for the view- very high boat traffic area and fast currents (think electrolysis)- very dangerous electrical issuesmy tower caught on fire while i was at work one day, after weeks and weeks of the owner telling me it was my (newly wired) boat and new 50-amp cord . . . the tower wires were exposed and got wet . . . tried educating the owner about this prior to the incident but to no avail . . . she doesn't clearly understand which boats draw how much and from where in order to place them on the grid properly, .- owner inherited the place and will not put a dime into it . . . not a boating expert, either .docks were a mess . . neighbor lady tripped and smashed her face (yes, there is/was a lawsuit) . . i (a liveaboard) had no 50-amp service from July thru Oct and got no refund . . owner refused to believe it was the bad/loose breaker on the tower . . . even after my tower caught on fire, she still blamed my cordif something goes wrong, it will *always* be the customer's fault . . . half my dock had no power over fourth of july wknd bc the panel was overloaded and the breaker tripped, and no owner to be found; when she finally showed up, she complained that they ruined her holiday . . . no concern about the heatwave and liveaboards with no AC or the hundreds of dollars they lost in food bc of no refrigeration for two days . . . FIVE of us boat tenants left for good at the end of the season if that says anything, cheaper rates or notIN SUMowner shows very little interest in the business other than the $$$ she can "steal" . . she has nice moments, but don't be fooled . . . i do not believe that the five-star reviews are from objective former tenants . ..(one reviewer works for her) she gets on much better with men (as you can see from the "reviews"), esp handsome ones, than women, so let your guy do the business interactions . . . but if you need a place just to leave your boat and won't be spending much time at the actual marina, it's worth it . . . otherwise, run like hell.-
