Great hotel and location. The ocean is across the street. Restaurant bar is by the dock. Could improve on complimentary breakfast options but the coffee was very helpful. Rooms are cool with the ocean winds, but also the AC is helpful. Waves are beautiful but there are many of them, and be wary of rip currents.

Stayed one night from July 5th to the 6th. Our toilet would not flush. We had to wait 20 minutes for tank to fill to use again. We reported this to the front desk and was told someone would look at it. It never was . We were told by the manager that he called multiple times to have it fixed but he never followed up to make sure the issue was fixed. The walls of the rooms are very thin. We could hear the people in the next room very loud and clearly at 2am. Unfortunately we didn't get a very good night sleep. As a frequent visitor to the jersey shore I was looking for a nice place to stay and thought I found it. I guess I need to keep on looking
Rooms: Thin walls and dirty floors. They were swept but need to be moped.

We stayed in ocean front room with a balcony. The room was clean and freshly renovated. The hotel staff is polite and accommodative. The only one issue we had is the noise from the road that all ocean front rooms are subject too. Next time we will rent the riverside view. It’s is also nice, but less noisy. We really enjoy live music on Sunday in the adjacent bar. Overall, great stay and pleasant memories.

This was our first stay at Beachwalk at Sea Bright. We stayed 4 nights. The first day we arrived at 1pm with the understanding that check in wasn't until 4pm. We were already prepared to find something to do until our room was ready but wanted to see if it was by chance, ready early since we were already there. Our room was not ready so Sam kindly handed us our pool bracelets and told us to enjoy the pool while we waited for our room. We went to the bar in the pool area where we were greeted by the friendliest bartenders, and enjoyed drinks by the pool while we waited for their text. When our room was ready, we were very pleased with it! The views are INCREDIBLE! Lying in bed and watching the ocean in the morning and evening, what more could you ask for? As far as cleanliness, I am a neatnik so by choice I re-cleaned the room even though it had already been cleaned. I even cleaned it before we left lol! Everything is remodeled on the beachfront side so the room appeared new and fresh. That being said, and this isn't a complaint, we didn't have maid service once our entire stay. Typically at a hotel/motel you go out for the day and come back to fresh towels, the bed being made but, we later found out, you have to request this, it's not automatic/included. I didn't mind at all. When I did need towels, soap or anything, the staff were fast, eager to help and super friendly.
I felt bad for the staff at times. They were absolutely great yet, often as we were coming and going, there were people in the lobby complaining about literal nonsense. One woman was angry that she couldn't check in early. Never EXPECT an early check in anywhere. If it happens, great! But when did people become so entitled?
Everyone that works at Beachwalk was kind, friendly and accommodating. Sam, Aiden and Kenny were all amazing to go to with any issue or question. If you're expecting a five-star, luxury HOTEL experience you should not stay here. I gave this place 5 stars for an amazing stay, because of it's location and the staff are amazing! And, it's a cool, boutique MOTEL. Perfect for anyone who wants a laid-back vacation in a modern, clean room with a chill and friendly experience.
There is a breakfast place called Alice's right in town which we didn't get to try this trip, and also a coffee and a pastry shop called Almost home, all just 4 minutes from the hotel. Daily we ventured a little further into Long Branch to Amy's which I highly recommend. It's a very good breakfast and lunch restaurant. We also tried Finagle bagel in the same shopping center in Long Branch which was pretty good, and Caputo's bakery for the best black and white cookies! They are like pound cake with scratch made chocolate and vanilla icing!
In the evenings, it's only 10 minutes from Beachwalk to Pier Village in Long Branch for a fun night out. 14 minutes to Red Bank for a day of shopping and really good restaurant choices. So much to do!
We are already trying to book our room for next year but they don't have the rates available yet for the week that we want. I will be booking a full week here as soon as I am able! We are SO SO excited to return!
Walkability: Another amazing feature is being able to walk to the beach and then go back to the pool. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this place. It's Perfection!

We just stopped by the front desk on a Thursday and booked a Oceanview room with rate $340. The first room door didnt luck after we unpacked. After spending like 1 hours with the manager and a technician a different room, which said the manager exactly the same, provided. The room was smaller and different, AC could not cool the whole area and wasted another 2 hours waiting for the maintenance guy who said there is not much can do because AC works.
Another 1hours wasted time to get a missing TV remote.
Never the less, the second night the rate jumpped additional $200. When I asked why at the time of reservation you didnt tell me that the rate for Friday would be different and jumed to $500, the manger just said, it is what it is for tje weekend, sorry they didnt tell you in the first place.
The ara is good but I never will go back to this hotel again.
Noteworthy details: While staff are friendly and try to help, lack of enough stuff make the service to be less quality.

At $250 a night I expected more. Our dresser nodrawers all fell out. There were no wash clothes 2 days in a row. They do have them. They were 2 hours late getting us in our scheduled 4 pm check-in. They promised to give us a better room ... Never delivered. We over heard an employee say you better check the cleaning in that room .. Susie, Not real name, cleaned that room.
The pool bar was a hit. They have great food and the bands were great. They only played till 8 pm. It's the beach or they would never get these prices..

The location is great, the room was small and not worth the money. There was a pubic hair in the shower, shows the lack of good cleaning, didn't notice until the next morning and we were only stay a night so it was not worth complaining. The bathroom didn't have hand soap to wash your hands and the bathroom felt dirty. I would not stay here again.
