Reviews are important and I wish I had looked at Lenin Paredes review prior to going to this cleaners!The same exact thing happened to me. I took a pair of pink pants along with several other articles. I am fairly new to area and decided to try this place because it was close to my house. Well when i picked up my items i was told they didnt clean one pair of pants because it had stains on them. The pants appeared to have been cleaned and the stains were fresh. Because the staff could not speak English the owner called later to tell me the stain were there when i dropped the pants off and they charge more for stains. I said exactly my point, when i dropped them off every item was inspected and you would have charged me more at that time, that proves my point! Owner argued back and forth and hung up the phone. I have worked in customer service for over 20 years and i have never and would never treat a customer like this. At the very least take responsibility and offer to clean but nothing! I guess I will continue to go to a cleaners that appreciate my business and dont damage my clothes and blame me. It appears they have a track record of doing this. BEWARE!I would not take the time to leave a review if i damaged my own pants. Who has time for that. Unlike you i have integrity.

I relocated to Scotch Plains over a year ago, just recently i decided to move all of my services to the town or closer by my home.Last week I decided to switch from a Cleaners i've gone too for 20 years to SP cleaners.Went to Scotch Plains Cleaners and the attendant was kind, she examined all 20 of my pants as she counted and bagged them up. When I returned a week later I was told there was a huge stain on one pair my pants that I will no longer be able to replace because the store no longer exist. The attendant was trying to explain to me there was a stain however she could not speak or understand English so i was not able to understand her nor was she able to understand me. She finally called someone on the phone who claims my pants were not cleaned because they had a huge stain on them and they did not want too.....(i actually dont know what she was explaining) The next day the owner or same lady from the other day called me back to say they didn't clean the pants because they found a stain on them and stains cost more, i stated exactly you proved my point!!!!! If you noticed a stain at the time of drop off you would have charged me more and that is proof that the stain was not there. I was insisted that i did not bring my pants with that fresh dark blue stain and she was constantly stating the stain was there. A few back and forth communication and then she hung up the phone.This bad review is really not about the pants because things happen. The review is how they handled the situation by blatantly blaming the customer and being confrontation with a customer without even trying to offer a solution. Her only solution was to hang up the phone which is the worst Customer service I ever encountered!!!! Morale of story is STICK to who you know AND appreciate your business because this cleaners surely DO NOT.

The business owner for this business is as bad as they get. I typically do not like to give bad reviews to businesses, as I am a business owner myself, but this one deserves it. I have been a customers for almost 5 years. They did an ok job with the clothes. I used them out of convinience as they were nearby. Never seen the owner as she is never there. Her staff runs the business. Last month, I dropped several items for dry cleaning. When I picked it up one of my shirts was damaged. I told the employee and she try to say that the shirt was given to them damaged. Which is not true as they inspect every item before accepting it. I asked to speak to the supervisor and was told no one was there. So I requested the owner be called. I explained the issue and the owner, said she was going to take a look at the shirt when she get back to the store and get back to me. This was on 8/11/2022. The owner never called me back. I called on 8/27/2022, left a message following up. As of this email, she has not contact me about my damage shirt. This business does not deserve people's business. If they cannot take responsibility for their action...even worst, they do not even have the decency to contact their clients. I am taking my business elsewhere!Services: Laundry wash & fold

One of the few decent cleaners left. Drcent job on clothes and reasonable prices. A little tough to get into if you're travelling in the wrong direction on Terrell Road.
