“We don't live in the area, so only visit a few times a year, but we love this Y. Friendly, accommodating staff; weight room on the small side but has all the essentials; huge pool with sauna and hot tub; convenient hours.”
“Went here for the Night Owl Market they have select Saturdays & Sundays in October, November, and December. Very cool selection of vendors and food trucks. Prices are reasonable, and a good selection of unique items to get as Christmas/holiday gifts such as handmade art and jewelry, books, comics, baked goods, and even some games and toys. Chill vibe with live music. I especially liked the book truck. Outdoor market, so very dog friendly! ?”
“Took the course this weekend at CCM. Tom and Dave were great coaches, super prone for the whole group to learn and commit to safety riding. For those who are doubting due to risk, it’s a very controlled environment. Coaches will not let you forward until you master the previous skill. Great experience overall, I would do it again.”
“An Amazing literacy based organization. Their phenomenal services which provide academic literacy programming for children and young adults. Book ready by design and creative resources. Check them ok!!!”

“I am absolutely blown away by the dedication and passion of the team at Husky House! Their tireless efforts to find the perfect forever homes for their rescues is truly inspiring. From the initial application to the adoption process, it's clear that their sole focus is on ensuring the happiness and well-being of these beautiful dogs. If you're thinking of adding a furry friend to your family, look no further than Husky House - you won't find a more committed and caring organization anywhere!" 5/5 stars!”
“Anyone reviewing the Metuchen YMCA saying the equipments are worn out or old yada yada yada are people who just loves to complain. The place is not perfect but you can still put work in! Got all the main equipment needed for a proper workout! I got no complains. If you have issues with the equipment or facility why don't you donate then!”
“I recently found my sweet Maisie through New Beginnings, and I couldn’t be more grateful. Choosing the right cat for my home wasn’t easy—especially with two dogs and another cat already part of my family. But the volunteers there were incredible. They took the time to truly understand my home, my pets, and what I was looking for, and they helped me find the perfect kitten to fit right in.
The women who volunteer at New Beginnings are kind, patient, and genuinely dedicated. They answer every question and guide you through the process with care. This isn’t the kind of place where you walk in, pick a cat, and leave. They make sure the match is right—for you and for the cat.
The facility itself is impressively clean and has none of the odors you often find in rescue environments. It’s clear that these cats are deeply loved and exceptionally cared for. I can’t thank the volunteers enough for everything they do for these wonderful furry friends. I highly recommend New Beginnings when you’re ready to welcome your next family member.”
“We all had a wonderful time. Bartenders were so friendly. Corn beef sandwich was delicious. Was a fun day. Thank you for opening your doors for a special occasion. ???”
“This is an incredibly well designed building in this very vibrant neighborhood. The center of Jewish life at Rutgers University. RU Hillel serves Jewish students. I have not visited the cafe but I heard it is amazing. There is an amazing exhibit at the front of the building. It is a Mezuzah made from the remnants of an Iron Dome missile!”
“Very helpful to find me a place to stay for over a week! After living in my car for months, a bed and shower were wonderful. Now my time is up and I will contact them again for help if possible.”
“Walter is an absolute wonderful man. He is very attentive to the needs of family, Veterans, children and his community. He will go to any limits with his commitment to the cause of family, The Military and community. Post 65 in Metuchen is Walter Zjawin.”

“Over the year’s metuchen has morphed into a very beautiful downtown, kudos to the developers and engineers . Looks great and keeps on improving. Love the brick buildings. Wish they can do this for other towns .”
“I realized last minute that my individual tax returns were too complicated to file on my own this year. I'm glad I stumbled across Adachi Financial Services on google. Daniel was really prompt and professional. He had my state and federal complete within a day and a half and for a very reasonable fee. Thanks!”
“Not in the best physical shape, not the cleanest and definitely not the best bedside care. However their therapy programs is one of the best in the state! very thankful for the therapist and the nurses.”

Right now im layed up with a broken knee and unable to get there for groceries so out of the kindness of their hearts they are bringing them to me until i can get surgery....i wish i could win the lottery so i could help them to help others...please dont stop doing all the good your doing and i pray God continues to bless you and all that you help.”
“I am retired and looking to rejoin the work force. The pandemic has resulted in agencies being closed to the public. Thus, you have to use websites to access their human resources. Catholic Charities is in the heart ❤️ of Perth Amboy. It's vital to the community. The receptionist was helpful, and staff appeared very busy. It would be nice to see this agency in a new state of the arts upgraded building. It would be most deserving.”
“Really kind employees, nice and organized, two dressing rooms they close 30 minutes before closing time, they have a clean bathroom, and they accept donations in the very back of the store (drive around to the rear)! I would say everything is reasonably priced, it’s definitely not as cheap as it used to be, but it can be manageable. I purchased 3 dresses, 2 nightgowns, 1 skirt, and 4 bowls for $60.”
“The YMCA is a great place for all families to go they have activities for the children teenagers adults they have Zumba classes yoga classes weight rooms and to play basketball ballet classes arts and crafts for the children and a swimming ?♂️ pool as well as swimming lessons for those that want to learn to swim and a children park and playground on the left side of the YMCA and the schools also have programs for the special needs children although the Guardians that supposed to be watching the children need to pay more attention to the children than to socialize with each other the special needs children do have fun and that really put a smile on my face but the only thing that really concerns me is that their water fountains does not have filters the water literally has a smell coming out of it because when I drank it it really left me dehydrated for a few hours I mean it's not so hard to put filters in those water fountains they need to keep the water clean and then you have the automatic door opener for the handicapped for people that are working with canes crutches or wheelchairs because for one to constantly pull that heavy door open just to walk in is a problem I mean they have an automatic door opener and it hasn't been working for weeks why do they continue to ignore that knowing that's very important they need to attend to those little things it not a big job but it's very important to maintain those are the only two problems that should be taken care of quickly but other than that the staff and the people that work there are wonderful the people they're always greet you with a smile and with positive attitudes and it just makes you feel wanted the YMCA is a happy place to be and they make you feel part of a family they have plenty of parking and plenty of handicapped ♿ parking as well but the water fountains and the handicap automatic door opener need to be attended to as soon as possible and they also want to charge there members a locker fee wich i find very unfair to do to the members they pay enough money to join the YMCA why charge the members a locker fee when the members should have access to free locker and not charge talk about highway Robbery to all members knowing No other gym does this to there members NOT cool at all to do that need to change A.S.A.P I give them a C+ and I hope they attend to the little things fast to get that A++”
“We had my daughters Sweet 16 here in March. The Hall is very nice and spacious. The staff was amazing ! Everything ran very smooth. The caterer they use was also incredible, our family and friends all had nothing but positive things to say.”
