No one is friendly, staff don't care to look at you or help with luggage, house keeping knocks 2 hours before checkout time. No one smiles in this hotel, its morbid, awful experience!! This can not be a Marriot, if I can give -10 starts I would. I just went down to take half my luggage to put downstairs for checkout, i said hello 3 times before front desk looked at me and it was just me at the counter.
When I checked in staff could see i had a lot of baggage and im super tired (im a private jet flight attendant) they did not care, i packed the trolley myself and pushed it to my room myself, not once was I asked to be assisted, never mind being greeted nicely.
Staff also did not give me the room I booked, no notified me, no communication was given and I can see the hotel is not full.
I stay in marriot mostly when I travel and this one is 100% not the marriot experience, you will be disappointed. Marriot in glen pointe is much better than this one, rather go there where stuff is great and rooms are huge!
The rooms you can hear the person in room next to you using the toilet and talking, the walls are super thin.
I don't recommend ever!

I suppose I'd say this is perfectly average, a little under average hotel. Nicest thing was the view of the mountains from the upper floors, very pretty in the fall especially.
Two major issues however, noise and age of the facility. The hotel itself is situated in between multiple major highways, convenient for many places but just know going in you'll need a sound machine for road sounds. The hotel itself should provide these in the rooms. Guests are (as many people have noted) in prior reviews loud! Some people in the room next door were singing loudly until 1am, another fellow guest in the elevator told me they hardly slept because people were running up and down the halls all night and slamming doors. The consistency of the complaint tells you it's a recurring clientele issue.
The other major issue is the age of the facility, it's 50+ years old so bear that in mind. Most of the rooms have had a recent refresh and they actually look pretty decent. The hotel was good enough to switch me to another room when the first one smelled a little too strongly of paint from a recent refresh. TV never worked, wasn't plugged in, which was disappointing, and also no breakfast. The woman who checked me in was like a robot, seems in another world. However, the second desk agent I spoke to about the room change was friendly and efficient.
Overall, thought the room/bathroom was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Not worth $300+ but for a very average stay it's ok. Can't say I was sorry to check out though.

I booked this hotel because I was a wedding guest. I originally booked the room for the 18th but called about a week later to add an extra night (the 17th) I checked in and everything was great until the 18th. I got woken up from my sleep by the fire alarm going off. Didn’t bother me too much but once I was finally able to fall back asleep a woman knocked on my door and asked me if I was checking out. I was very confused but I told her no my check out is tomorrow (the 19th) she said oh goodness thank you and wrote it down on her clipboard. I attended the wedding and didn’t get back to the hotel until around 12:30am on the 19th. When I went up to my room my key card didn’t work. Again I found myself confused. I kept trying but to no avail. All of a sudden the father of the bride opens my room door FROM THE INSIDE. I ask him what is he doing in there ? How did he get in? He said he was assigned this room. Very confused now, I step into the room. The room in which had ALL of my belongings along with my room mates belongings. I am beyond frustrated with what is going on and head to the desk with the father of the bride. I found myself asking the man at the desk how could they check someone in to a room with 2 suitcases, make up in the bathroom ? He seemed irritated that I was irritated. Did not seem remorseful at all. He said “I’ll give you 5,000 points for the inconvenience” and assigned my card to my room. I am not pleased nor satisfied with my stay at this hotel AT ALL! Had it not been the father of the bride my belongings would have been in the possession of a COMPLETE STRANGER!

DISGUSTED! This specific hotel completely tarnished the Marriott name. I should’ve read the reviews before staying at this grotesque excuse of a hotel. These were the stained sheets they had for us! I will be reporting this

The room itself was nice and clean, but the bathroom was a different story. When we first arrived there was only one full size towel in the room. Which wasn't a huge deal, called the front desk and they promptly brought up more. The room was booked for two, you'd think there would be at least two full size towels to start with. The seat on the toilet was loose and paint inside the bowl had been scrubbed off. The bathroom door has been replaced with a barn door style door that wasn't leveled correctly, so it rubs on the floor at the end. You needed to put your full body weight into the door to move it. The old rubber stoppers from the original door were still on the frame, just painted over. The sink lines still had their store tags on it. You could see the pencil marks on the tile from where they marked it to cut the shower head in. The vent in the shower wasn't attached and at a 20 degree angle. There was rust and hair around the shower door hardware. The drop ceiling tiles were warped and didn't sit flat. The light in the shower didn't work and the light wasn't set properly in the ceiling tile. There are no hooks anywhere to hang your towels after use. There are signs on the door and on the TV hotel info screen about a pool that doesn't exist anymore.

Let me start off by stating how disappointed, deceived, and "catfished" I was by this experience with Marriott. I have been a member for nearly a decade, and I’ve never been so let down by what I encountered. The hotel had a terrible smell, it was falling apart, and the pictures on the website were nothing like what was advertised. The toilet was in a diagonal to the door and not aligned as it should be. And there was mold…. Additionally, I was not aware that I had to pay for parking. This was by far my worst hotel experience ever, and I feel that my points, which I have accumulated over the years, were wasted on this subpar hotel, for lack of better words.

Had a horrible experience a few weeks ago that resulted in a complimentary stay. While we appreciate the stay the renovations left us very disappointed. We were married here a few years ago and unfortunately it is no longer at the standard we once experienced.

Frost desk told us they had a lounge on M floor next morning I checked there was no M floor.. I asked the reception where is the lounge they said it has been closed. I tried to go to the gym but my key didn't work..I went and I got another one. Then when I went back to my room, they key wasn't working ( mind you i had 3 extra ones because the same thing happened on the first day and I couldn't access my hotel room) so at this point I have 4 keys that don't work. I went to reception very frustrated got another key ... and they offered water as their form of damage control.
