“Genevieve's don't only have the best chocolates, but coming here brings back wonderful childhood memories. My dad always got me and my sister huge chocolate bunny's when we were growing up.She would get the milk chocolate, I would get the white chocolate.Genevieves has become a family tradition. I no longer live in Garfield, but every year I go down there just to get the best chocolate for my my niece and nephews (and of course a little treat for myself ?).”
“I sent an email very early one morning as I desperately needed chocolate covered strawberries the same day for girls' night. I honestly did not expect a response. It was a long shot. It was an email sent right before the Labor Day weekend. A lovely lady named Kim replied promptly and had my order ready within a few short hours. Couldn't have been more grateful! I am a big supporter of local small businesses and I always want to spend my hard earned dollars at places where my business is appreciated. Thanks so much to Kim for taking care of my order!! My friends absolutely loved their chocolate covered strawberries, and we will certainly be back!”
“Went in for some chocolate strawberries as a treat this valentine’s day. The girls are so sweet and helpful. Amazing customer service. Even with a long line it didn’t take too long for it to get moving! The girls said it would be a wait for the berries and it take way less time than anticipated. So glad i came here & will definitely be coming back. Delicious berries and kind staff 10/10”
“Just got some Super Bowl goodies and valentine treats. I had the pleasure of meeting the new owner who was so kind. Highly recommend this place for all your chocolate needs.”

700 Plaza Dr, Secaucus“The sweetest couple owns this spot. It's small, as expected but has what I typically need for a little convenience spot when I don't want to stand in those long Walmart lines.”
“The owner of World of Goodies is so helpful and accommodating! I don't live in that area but have needed to send goodies in that area multiple times and he always helps me get the right package for the right price and delivered when we need it. Great quality, wonderful to deal with!”
“Going to a party today and we're bringing a lovely little chocolate assortment from Matisse. Personally, I love dark chocolate. There are chocolate covered pretzels, cookies and my favorite is the chocolate covered potato chips.”
“The staff is super friendly and their prices are reasonable. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries and they asked when I was picking them up so they can make them as close to pickup as possible for maximum freshness. They also have a great selection of other chocolate and fudge.”

183 Jefferson St, Passaic“I loved this candy store. My friend told me to buy my Piñata in Dulcelandia. It was totally worth the trip. Their piñatas are so much fun. The store has so much variety and the customer service is excellent. My friend recommended Dulcelandia to buy a Piñata. It was a good buy. We had the most fun. The Piñata is very good quality. They have a wide variety of sweets. Those who serve are very friendly and attentive. They have a customer forever. 100% recommendable.”
“Best chocolate. Been a customer for many many years. Their holiday mold candy is very festive. I just purchased the toy soldier. At Thanksgiving the chocolate horn of plenty is beautiful. Stop in you won't be disappointed.”
“I work remote and my boss from the west found this place to deliver bonbons as a small Christmas present in 2022. The box was wrapped beautifully and the chocolate itself was great. Each flavor was unique to its own and did not disappoint. Hoping to go back some day and try other items.”

1600 Broadway, New York“A tourist trap for sure! But what a party it is! Pull the lever and get as much M&Ms as you want ( or less, cause we got way too many! ;). There is also a large collection of colorful clothing.”
“As part of the expansive American Dream mall known for its size, store variety, and event attractions, IT'SUGAR is one of the site's most memorable and fun offerings. With enough candy on shelves to feed an entire city's worth of children on Halloween night, the store's immense variety of candy and all things sweets is heavily stocked across multiple levels. Here, candies of all types, including international and vintage ones, await for eager sugar enthusiasts. As to be expected from a more event-centered storefront, pricing is more toward the expensive end.”
“STAY AWAY if you are a candy addict this place is highly addictive!!! lol. Some of the best chocolate I have ever tasted. My chocolate covered pretzel, peanut butter cup, marshmallow covered chocolate were all amazing. Great service from the smile of the employee to the smell when you first walk in. It's worth rehab. LOL.”
“We walked upon this store before they were officially opened and they welcomed us like we were family. We have been back since and the treatment continues to maintain. My child proclaims these the best crepes in the world and this child knows crepes. Highly recommend supporting them when you have a sweet tooth.”
“I recently purchased chocolate covered Oreos and chocolate covered strawberries for my daughter's bridal shower. The Oreos were so beautiful and delicious - as were the strawberries, which were also extra-large. I will definitely order from the Chocolate Nook again. Suzanne, the owner was easy to work with and very accommodating. Super happy!”
“This place has NOT closed and is open for business. Moreover, the owner is one of the nicest and most polite persons I have encountered lately. He is quite helpful and more than willing to special order anything he doesn't have in stock. It is truly a pleasure spending my money at this establishment where my business is genuinely appreciated! (I am not from San Fransico, CA as stated in my profile). NJ here.”
“Grabbed a few things for some business functions & as gifts for friends and was patiently walked through all the offerings by Emmanuel (spelling?) who gave us a few samples so we could pair his recommendations to what we liked. The chocolate itself is incredible (and this is coming from someone who doesn’t have a sweet tooth and doesn’t really care for chocolate in most other settings)!Highly recommend!”
“A cute shop. Staff are accomodating and friendly.3 stars for stale twizzlers (almost at expiration date). I had a sweet tooth that was left so dissapointed.

They have a good selection of chocolate, caramels, chocolate covered cherries, etc. and will wrap your box if you request it.My only negative thought is that the staff do a lot of socializing... not between themselves but with customers which can aid to the wait time.
Parking: Lots of free street parking on Ridge Rd. and the nearby side streets.”

112 Jackson Ave, Rutherford“It's a nice throw-back to the "sweet shops" that were fairly common back when I was a kid, and...for all intents and purposes...don't really exist anymore. Every few weeks, I bring my birth mother to the laundromat a few doors down to do her laundry (which is considered an "essential service" in this age of Covid-19), and I usually stop here to pick up a few items (I guess the sweet shop is considered an "essential service" too). It's old-- you can see that walking in. In fact, my birth mother grew up in the area, and her late father...my grandfather...bought tobacco here. And her brother...my uncle...got one of his first jobs here. He was in his early teens, and he's in his early 70s now, so...that gives some indication of just how long this place has been in business (I'm sure the ownership has changed hands since then, of course).Towards the back is a sit down area that...if I'm not mistaken...was once a soda fountain. I wish it still existed as a soda fountain. Would love to have an old fashioned "black and white" soda, or something comparable. Some of my early positive memories concern the Preakness Luncheonette, which was Wayne's version of the "sweet shop." I can remember my father bringing me there for a lemon coke, which seemed very exotic at the time. They sold magazines, newspapers, candy, ice cream, cigarettes, hamburgers, etc.(On a side note, while I'm wandering down Memory Lane...as an adolescent, I became friendly with 2 cousins from Yonkers...Tommy and Ricky...who had contests with each other to see who could shoplift the most items. The Preakness Luncheonette was one of their targets, and Tommy asked me one time, as I sat outside as a spectator, "Ed, can I get you anything?" "How about a Creepy magazine?" He came back with 5 issues of Creepy magazine, plus several other items, easily winning the contest with his cousin. That incident lit a light bulb in my head: "Wow, this looks almost too easy! Who needs money? I don't have to deliver any more newspapers!" I began my "criminal career" as a shoplifter at the Luncheonette, stealing horror comics and "girlie" magazines...the hormones were starting to kick in...and moving on to books, records, toys, items I didn't really need, even a wall poster that I concealed in my pants leg. My "career" as a budding Dillinger ended when a guy at another store stopped me, lifted up my shirt. Some 6th sense had made me toss back the magazine I had been ready to shoplift before he stopped me. Not finding any contraband, he growled, "Get the f*ck out of my store." The thought of my father...a nice guy but fearsome when he was pissed...finding out terrified me more than the thought of jail did, and "scared me straight." But I would like to take this opportunity to apologize these many decades later to the owners of the Preakness Luncheonette, who seemed like regular people trying to run a small business. Which has been "out of business" for decades. My sincere apologies for any part I might have played in that.)The Manor does have a magazine section, but I've outgrown "girlie" magazines (although I still have a weakness for horror comics), and have no temptation to resort back to my childhood thievery. At the front counter, I buy 2 coffees. One large black, with lots of sugar, for my birth mother. One small black, for me, no sugar. To make up for the no sugar in the coffee, I also buy Italian honey candy, coconut chocolate, and a "Chunky." (This is what I guess I consider "recompense" for my good deed of helping out with the laundry.) You can buy Lotto tickets here, soda or sports drinks, cigarettes, as well as some canned items.Surprisingly, I've been able to buy paper towels and tissue paper here when those items have been in short supply elsewhere. The proprietors seem to be going out of their way t”
“This is the place to go for mattresses! Mike was very nice and helpful. We’ve gotten a couple mattresses from here and will go back soon for another. Highly recommended!!!”
