“What a great place! If you have something you need to sell, they'll give you a great price, if you're looking to buy something, you'll find wonderful items there plus there are auctions monthly where new items always turn up. The people that work there are super nice and helpful. It's a wonderful experience l.”

445 Park Ave #1, New York“Love love love this store, everything is beautiful and I want to take a million things home every time I go. I try to visit whenever I go to NY. I have bought gorgeous sterling Tiffany frames, and a beautiful glass vase with silver overlay which makes me smile whenever I look at it. The salespeople are lovely as well. The prices are not inexpensive, but the merchandise is beautiful, and they will work with you a little bit, especially if you are purchasing more than one item. I absolutely recommend stopping here when you are in the area!”
“I cannot say enough good things about this store! The selection of antiques is simply phenomenal- I could spend hours looking through everything in the store! I love the variety of items and fairness of the prices as well. The owner is so friendly and always answers any questions I have about the antiques!”
“Nancy is very nice and patient. I ask a lot of questions and she answers all of them thoroughly. Very good store prices are decent. She doesn’t give me a hard time, especially when I’m very particular and picky. My go to spot from now on!”
“I have been doing business with them for a couple years, selling coins and gold jewelry. They are knowledgeable, patient and fair. I have lived in the area for several years and a friend recommended them. I would definitely recommend them as well; if you are looking to get cash for coins, gold or silver there pricing is fair and competitive.”

32A Church St, Montclair“Sam and his team could not have been more helpful, honest, flexible, fair and cooperative. Sam, the owner, met me on several occasions to appraise value, and in the end pack up the items we sold. We were thrilled with the service and would highly recommend to anyone needing to sell, antiques and valuable possessions — call Sam!”
“This place is absolutely incredible. I think I could spend 8 hours in here and not see everything. I was shocked at how big the space is, what a hidden treasure. I went in on a Saturday and it was a little busy but that's normal. The gentlemen working were two of the nicest guys I have ever met, which makes me want to shop here all the time. They were so kind with every customer. Once it was my turn, not only did one of the gentlemen wrap each one of my purchases in paper then boxed them, but when I got home I realized he also removed the tags, saving me that chore. I will be back - often.”

215 E 58th St 5th Floor, New York“Fantastic customer service, easy to order online, quick turn around time and a beautiful product!
I needed help ordering a lampshade for a vintage glass lamp I inherited from my mom. I had no idea where to begin so I reached out through Illume’s website. They gave me guidance in ordering the perfect lampshade! Thank you!”
“I echo the other reviewers: wonderful store with a unique selection of quality products coupled with personalized customer service. THIS is what NYC should be made of, instead of chase banks and weed shops on every corner. The prices are a bit higher, but it's nothing crazy, and let's please remember that you get what you pay for. And if you want nyc to retain some of its character on at least one little corner in this city, please -- pretty please -- stop over and purchase something from this lovely little shop.”
11AM - 6PM
116 E 59th St, New York“This bookstore found me. And every since then it’s been calling me back. I walked in and was met with the smell of the alphabet and maps from every country in the world. I was allowed to peruse the first floor without being pressured and that felt good because walking in can be intimidating.Everyone there was helpful and I was directed to the second floor by means of a turn of the century elevator. Maps on this floor were organized smartly and you must ask for assistance before taking them off the shelf.I would encourage you to check out their website so you have an idea of what you are looking for before arriving. They also have volumes online that may not be in store at the current time but they have access to from their warehouse.”
9AM - 5PM
20 Beach St, Bloomfield“Very grateful for the information John Nye gave me on items I was looking to sell. Although he did not deal in those items, he referred me to several other auction companies.Very professional, nice person! I will definitely look to work with Nye & Company in the future.”
“Wow wow wow!! Stunning hole in the wall boutique that makes me feel like I’m Alice in Wonderland. As a college student, I appreciated the forgiving price range! Walking home with a beautiful piece and I couldn’t be happier.”
“This store is quite a find! It is an antique store, jammed full of treasures... mostly glass objects, some larger furniture display cases (all filled with things), rhinestone jewelry, occasionally some unique clothing and much more for you to discover. The store has been there for nearly 50 years and Betty Jo, the owner, is almost always there to answer any questions and tell you where she got everything. (Her memory is amazing, for a 94 year old, plus she's just a delight.) I suggest stopping by and just browsing for awhile, because there's lots to see and discover... at very reasonable prices. As they always say: When in doubt, check it out.”
“Kind staff, and super affordable prices. If you find yourself to be in the area, consider stopping in. You won't regret it! Great selection of quality, true vintage clothes, as well as accessories and furniture.”
10AM - 5:30PM
53 E 77th St, New York“Selection, quality and class make this a must destination for discerning people in look for one of a kind 18th century French furniture and furnishings (but they have a piece here and there from England, Italy and other places as well). They have the entire five stories to themselves so Dalva Brothers (a 3rd generation family-run business) will sure have something for you. Being in a bit of a hurry i saw just the first 2 floors, but if they are a reflection of what is to be found on the other floors, then i am visiting soon again. Among what caught my eye i saw an impressively carved cinnabar lacquer area table, two large toddler marble busts, a few Italian-made coastal-scene wall-mounted moquettes made of wood, and a larger than average self-propelled wheelchair -it almost looked like a throne-on-wheels, really! So, next time you are in the city, stop by. While selling serious works they will make you feel relaxed and at ease.”
“Can’t think of a nicer guy in a business like this. The owner Nick helped me out tremendously for a bunch of things I needed and kept recommending more to really complete my trip. Prices are incredibly fair and if you talk to Nick you’ll get a couple cool stories from him as well. I’ve already recommended this store to friends and family who I’ll most likely join if they head over here. I highly recommend anyone looking to go to a thrift store to come here first before anywhere else.”

Store front, 102 W 79th St, New York“Absolutely wonderful store. We were in a cab stopped at the light and became mesmerized by the window, had to jump out and go inside. Friendly informative salesperson. Must return.”
“New and old. Re-purposed and repaired. Lots of very nice stuff. My wife saw them on Instagram. We didn't get anything, but we weren't disappointed with what is offered.”
“Finally paid a visit to this spot after passing it a million times, and I'm so glad I did! The owner, Rob, is so nice and easy to talk to. Left here with the coolest lamp and will definitely be back to find some more treasures. Give this spot a visit!”
“A fun store to explore! Luci rules, super kind to me and my fiancee and let me gush over my love of collecting cards and retro games (had to get the Sonic game she had in box). Shoutout to her for being a friendly owner and for the wonderful convo.”
“I really enjoyed my trip to the farmhouse. Patty's collection is definitely fun, unique and of good quality. The furnitures are beautiful and it's great they are giving second life to barn woods and some mid century furnitures. Will definitely visit the place again soon!!!”

“I used this talented person to restore my grandmother's china doll. She is kind and fair. The store is lovely, and the staff is so knowledgeable. A museum of American domestic art!”
“The gentleman was very knowledgeable and the prices here are by far the best in the county if not northern Jersey.I shopped around and found this place to be the best for prices to sell and to buy. Also has a wonderful selection of cool rare coins. I’d recommend; 10/10.”
