This store is a gem for a variety of reasons. I appreciate its location, as it is central to most places you would eat at on Park Avenue. This makes it very convenient for BYOB. The store is clean and well-stocked. Wooden shelves align the walls and display the various wines and spirits. The selection as far as my interests go is quite good. Numerous less-common bourbons can be found here, and for fair prices. Finally, where the place really shines is the owner. He is absolutely wonderful in every way. He is pleasant, courteous, kind, and helpful and will strike up friendly conversation with his customers. He will even try to procure various items for you that he doesn't have in stock. This nice touch keeps me coming back.

After trying to find a liquor store to help with a complicated order we found Village Wines. The service was amazing. They went above and beyond to package each gift individually and even went to a craft store for custom wrapping paper. I highly recommend them for your purchases.

Love this shop! Great selection and excellent customer service. Plus, they deliver! My Dad actually surprised me twice by ordering a bottle of celebratory champagne from Village Wines and having it delivered to my table when I was out to dinner on Park Ave (Suprema and Song E Napule). Highly recommend this place!

Okay selection.I got several bottles from here. They didn't put the piece of cardboard in between the bottles so they were clinking the whole ride home.And they stuffed them in one bag...
