My transmission failed and I saw they had a great rating on recommended AAA facilities. I personally was never there prior or knew anyone who had been there. They promptly diagnosed the issue as the radiator and hose. Chris personally talked me through what needed to be done and expectations for the car in the future. I also received a very detailed receipt with the cost of parts and labor. It felt good knowing I was not ripped off as sometimes places do shady things with cars, especially when you don’t understand mechanics of vehicles. They had the job done in a day and I left as a future customer with full trust in them. I am 100% satisfied with them.

Unlike other repair shops they always take the time to explain everything that needs to be done which is great. They are all very personable and friendly.

Working with Chris Ridge Services was an unexpected (AAA tow to the nearest location), yet incredibly pleasant experience; when I ran into significant car trouble, Chris Ridge Services were nothing but accommodating and helpful; in fact, they went above and beyond to work with me in terms of storing the car, diagnosing the vehicle, and ultimately scrapping the car for me.
This is one of the best auto repair shops I have ever worked with- accommodating, communicative, and so pleasant as well as understanding.
I HIGHLY recommend using Chris Ridge Services to anyone looking for honest diagnostics, skilled mechanics, and wonderful pleasant customer service skills... Gotta love a family owned business :)
Chris Ridge & his son... 10/10 :)

Typical mechanic we’re they think females don’t know anything!Overall very poor customer service and service. I took my car here after it died and they told me “I left a light on” and that my car is fine. I insisted that this was incorrect and that I know my car, and something isn’t right. After charging me $200 to charge my battery they sent me on their way. One month later, after my car continued to start slow and have problems my car dies at the gas station. I called them the next day, and they said they couldn’t get me in till after the holidays, but if I was to go get it looked at, and it resulted that it was their fault, they would take care of it. Turns out that my battery was bad, which resulted in my car ding multiple times. When I spoke to the manager he told me he would not be doing anything to compensate me for my troubles, was very short, and didn’t apologize. Overall the worst customer service. Claims he didn’t make a mistake when I have proof that he did.

My car broke down over the weekend. I looked up nearby mechanics that were AAA certified and I chose this location. The gentleman that took my car in was very courteous, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. The next day he called me with the issue, the work and parts that were needed along with an estimate on the cost. I had my car fixed and ready in a few hours.I look forward to returning with any additional repairs I might need and will reccomend Chris Ridge to my friends.

The staff are all so helpful. The owner is also very helpful and the pricing is very affordable. I always take my car to Chris. Small town shop that offers great service, fair pricing and very nice people! As a woman with zero knowledge of cars, I always feel comfortable at Chris’s. They are honest and do a great job!

Overall poor service and customer **********************. I brought my car in here a month before the holidays because my car died and they insisted it was because I left a light on. I explained to them that something was seriously wrong with my car because its been starting slower, and I know my car. They insisted that nothing was wrong and then they checked everything. For the next month my car was starting a lot slower and the same problem persisted. My car ended up dying again in a gas station parking lot. I called the mechanic the next day and they said that if there was a problem with my car that they would potentially talk about refunding me the $200 (or a different amount) that I spent to charge my car. I had my car checked out by a different mechanic and turns out that my brand new battery was defective. I called the mechanic to inform them, and they told me that it wasnt their fault and there was nothing they could do when it was clearly their fault because they didnt check my battery.

I brought my vehicle in on November 3rd, complaining of a noise in the front end and an intermittent message on my DIC stating service power steering. I was told it was a wheel bearing for the noise and a leaking rack for the power steering. I agreed to have the work done. On 11/8, I paid the bill and started my car to be met with the same power steering message. I drove the car, and the steering was still not correct. They kept the car for a day, and the next day, I was told that a module for the power steering needed to be programed by cadillac. I begrudgingly took the car. The next day, while driving, all my dash lights came on about traction control, stabilitrak, and ABS. At this point, I called back and was told to bring it in but I had a bad taste about the situation and needed seek out another opinion. It turns out that the module for power steering isn't putting out the correct voltage,(nothing about it being programmed) a bad alternator is the culprit. I can't help but think that if this was diagnosed properly, the rack and pinion wouldn't have been changed.
