Everyone at Rumson Pharmacy is very polite and helpful. It has that Hometown feeling. It's not like the Big Chain pharmacies. You walk in they know your name. If you need a refill on a prescription they take care of it for you not like others where they tell you to call your doctor and have your doctor call it in Rumson Pharmacy does all that. Plus they deliver which is a big help and the delivery driver is always friendly and polite.

Not like it used to be. People now following you around in the store. They have done away with the iconic cosmetic counter that made this place special. Not much product around. Not festive as it once was. Not friendly. This was a great place to come when one wanted to spend a few extra dollars for something fine and fancy. No more. I was sad to see the old Pharmacy this way. The pharmacy I watched get transformed in the late 70s by Pharmacist Will Statter. He made the place what it was. Sad to see the thrill gone.

I came here the first time ever since living in Rumson to drop an Rx for a friend. She has stage 4-5 Mets Breast Cancer which has spread to her bones and lungs. I took her to a wound appointment today in which the surgeon did a surgical debridement of an old radiation burn in her leg . I dropped off a written Rx for 2 days of a Tylenol with codeine, he wouldn't fill it, he never called her, she got flagged because pain doctors have prescribed meds way stronger than this, that she won't take. He had no compassion for her surgery today, told us to call the pain doctor, but it was 5:15. Not happening! I am disappointed with the disconnect this pharmacist has with his local clients. It's not like this Rumson Pharmacy is a CVS, yet I felt treated worse than a patient showing up at a meth clinic in Patterson. Amit Patel, go work in a hospital pharmacy where you can disrespect nurses like me. Not patients who are struggling to stay alive for their children. Shes been purchasing very expensive chemo medications and not that it matters to you all, but in healthcare dollars it does. Any chronic patients should choose Little Silver Family Pharmacy, Ross the pharmacist has compassion and he will fight for his patients. Not Amit who is overworked and struggling to find happiness in his late career. Here is the number for your new pharmacy. Be a well all, P.S. Always a problem at this pharmacy. When paying for my latest prescription I realized the pharmacy had not used my insurance and was charging me the full price. I told them I wanted to use my insurance. After 20 mins they told me my insurance was “inactive”. 1 hour of phone time and waiting to learn my insurance is fine and the pharmacy had input my info wrong. Big waste of time, not the first time. Good luck using your insurance here, they are happy to overcharge.

I’ve been using this local, independent pharmacy for several years. They offer a personal, hands-on touch that the big box stores can’t match. They help facilitate refills that are out by contacting physicians’ offices on behalf of the client. They offer text or phone notifications to let clients know when medications are ready. They have local delivery for a very small fee. Staff is ALWAYS courteous, without fail. The pharmacy itself has lots of products of interest from typical over-the-counter items to homeopathic selections to cell phone cases and artisan wine bottle holders. It’s easy to get lost in the aisles. The parking lot behind the pharmacy makes parking very easy and I’ve personally never waiting in line longer than a couple minutes. If you’re looking for a pharmacy that treats you like a valued individual, this is the place for you. Highly recommend.

Nice little store that always seems to have exactly what I need no matter how random. I visited for birthday presents, candy runs, and party commodities and always found what I wanted. They even sell some clothes. The staff is nice as well. Overall a great store.
