On Oct.3, 2023 I went to Ledgewood Walgreens to buy prescription eyedrops which I had bought there in the past. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. and was there until almost 1:00 p.m. They advised that I needed a new prescription as my renewals had expired. These eyedrops are extremely important to control high eye pressure. Without them blindness would ultimately occur. It was 35 minutes later that they finally called my doctor for the renewal. At approximately 11:30 a.m. I went to the doctor's office to get the prescription myself since it seemed some mix up may have occurred. I explained what was going on to my doctor and he gave me the prescription as well as a small sample bottle as he knew the seriousness of being with these drops. After all the hours they jerked me around they told me that they were out of stock and needed to order. They recorded the prescription and the Good RX coupon into their system. I asked when these drops would likely arrive. They said they would call and let me know. I waited for days and on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023 they said they had one bottle, (one month supply), I said what about the other two bottles they said we have to order them. I said okay can you hold that one bottle and I'll pick it up when the other two come in. I called on Monday, Oct. 9th and they said what came in was Combigan which is the name brand and far more expensive than the substitute we ordered. My prescription insurance, Humana, doesn't cover either so I'm paying either one myself. I said can you get the substitute which we ordered. Okay she said. Today Is Oct. 11, 2023. I called and was told it is on back order and they have no idea if and when it is coming in. I said then I will come in and pickup the one bottle you are holding for me. They said: "Oh no we sold that to someone else."It appears that they are more interested in giving out free vaccinations than serving paying customers such as myself. Don't give them any business. They treat paying customers like trash.

I used to appreciate this pharmacy. Had an issue with a rude young pharmacist one weekend ago. This weekend needed antibiotic and round of cortisone. Took over FOUR HOURS for them to "get to" my order which was submitted electronically by my dr. I swear same pharmacist saw my name and decided to play a game. I know that my prescriptions were received by 11 am because I checked online. Prescriptions were not ready until after 4. The weekend pharmacy staff is horrible. Never problems on weekdays. Also, several times they can only partially fill a medication because they are out of it and I have to go back several days later for the rest. If you need prescriptions on the weekend, good luck. Weekdays not so bad. Drive through can take 20 minutes at times. This particular Walgreens in Ledgewood, NJ needs to DO BETTER like they used to.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Absolutely horrendous service! Worst experience I have ever had at any Pharmacy in my life. The lack of care, customer service and professionalism was simply disturbing. Everyone looking to find an excuse to move you along instead of listening to the needs or concerns of the client. The only way we got the Pharmacists to assist is to demand answers and assistance. The tone, body language and dismissiveness is unacceptable for a medical professional. Lied about having an E Script that goes through immediately in the system only to immediately say \\\"oh it's here\\\" when the doctor called. Then you pivot to we don't have it here anyway and most Pharmacies don't. Only to then backtrack on that and multiple in the area did after we had to ask for it to be looked up. If you don't want to do the job get a new one but subjecting people in need of medication and advice at a very vulnerable moment has lost Walgreens a customer forever. Trust me you would be better off going just about anywhere but here period!

There is a shocking lack of pharmaceuticals at this location. Constantly providing partial fulfillment of prescriptions requiring multiple trips back to the store to complete the Rx ordered by the doctors. This is either a nationwide Walgreens problem or the Ledgewood location is a very minor fulfillment center. Then a member of the the staff gets very passive aggressive when being asked why this happens.

Caring about customers. Hiring adequate numbers of pharmacy staff so customers are not on hold for OVER AN HOUR & STILL not gotten through to anyone in the pharmacy. Money instead of customers

The head pharmacist here is absolutely awful. I have been getting my meds here for years and she made my life so difficult yesterday for no reason that I had to call the police to come into the store with me because I knew how hostile she was going to be based on our phone conversation. Good thing I did. Even the officer said to me afterwards that I definitely did the right thing because she was crazy. She looked like she was about to vault the counter and start swinging at me and I did nothing to this woman. If she don’t get fired, no Walgreens anywhere will ever get my business again.

Went there to have my husband's scripts filled. they tried to put it through and did not work. Said a computer glitch that needed fixing. Went back next day and they had filled one but the other would not go through. Still working on the problem. Back the third day and still nothing. And HE NEEDS the meds. I got the one script back, went to Valley Pharmacy in Succasunna and they filled it. BUT, the girl in Walgreen's gave me the wrong script. So I had TWO of the same medication and not the one he truly needs. Valley called and the girl said I was wrong. I called Walgreen's and told her if I was wrong how come I have TWO OF THE SAME MEDICATION. She looked and told me she made a mistake. She told me she would take it to Valley but lied again and did not. Phoned it in. I will NEVER set foot in a Walgreen's ever again. If you need a pharmacy, use Valley Pharmacy in Succasunna, NJ. So nice and so helpful!

Why is there no option for "0" ? This location is a mess. Has always been. My mother insisted on going for her flu shot. Made appointment for 4:30pm...and then sat around, with nothing happening to any customer for a good 30 minutes. Then was asked, why do you offer appointments if time is not honored? Finally done after 45 minutes from appointment time. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST......

When I was finally able to get my vaccination this was the Walgreens I went to. The staff could not have been friendlier, and the nurse giving the shots was super helpful and answered all questions. The store was large and clean.

The Dover location is absolutely the worst. Except for one nice woman I saw one time, the staff is bored and disinterested in your needs or how much of your time they waste. Everything is overpriced, and selection of brands is very limited. Avoid this establishment at all costs.

Got my flu shot here. Very friendly staff and very quick. Love picking up a few things here, too.

I tried calling to ask if they have high dose flu shots. The phone has been ringing for exactly 11 minutes and 12 seconds already. No one has picked up to ask me to hold. Is anyone actually working in this store?

Do you like having your time wasted? Do you like having the pharmacists roll their eyes at you? Do you like mindlessly waiting in a drive through line for roughly 30 mins to be told it isn't ready and you should try driving around the lot to wait in line again? Well this is the place for you. If you expect bad customer service and long waits then this just might your favorite place to shop. This place is a joke. Any pharmacy is better than this place. I strongly warn you not to go here; your blood will be boiling by the time you leave. Customer service must not be taught to the employees along with time management. Also I would love to see where they get their time estimates from for prescription fills the lady told three people in front of me 20 minutes and then told me the same thing and when I asked her if she tells all the customers 20 mins she got very irate and hung up the phone for the two way speaker. There is a shop rite down the road that is a million times better. My time is valuable and I don't appreciate it being wasted. It's almost like they are trying to put on a façade that they are actual chemists making your pills from scratch in the back or something when in reality they are putting pre made pills in a plastic container. I genuinely don't understand why it takes them so long. Literally the worst bunch of employees I've ever seen.
