The new shoprite Liquors in Succasunna is on par with Shoprite Liquors of Byram, which has been the best for over a decade.

The new location is in the same plaza but near the Staples and Ramsey Outdoors.They did an phenomenal job on this store. The selection is huge and just keeps going. It is very organized and clean. They are on top of keeping it pristine and they are friendly. I was only there looking for wine to cook with.

NEW LOCATION is big and stocked up! So happy they moved the liquor store down the strip mall to make it bigger and more updated. They expanded their selections of wines, ciders, hard liquor and more with lots of options for refrigerated/cold items too.

Any rating less than 4 stars is unfair. Decent selection with average/decent prices with great hours. You pay a little extra for the convenience of grabbing a quick bottle of wine alongside your groceries. You can find better prices and better selection across the street, but after a long day that extra 10 minutes can feel like an eternity.

Very disappointed with service. I ordered 4 cases of wine and had plans to order 3 more for a celebration. I notified the manager I would be in at 9am to pick them up. I find a woman behind the counter who was annoyed I was bothering her. She asked me where my cart was. I told her the guys always help me put them in my car. I just pull up to the front door. She told me I couldn't park my car there and shoved a quarter in my face and told me to go get a grocery cart. I told her if I wasn't going to get any help, then just cancel my order. She shrugged her shoulders and looked away. I then called from my car to speak with the manager and was told he was busy. When he called, he said sorry for her behavior and to come back and he would put the wine in my car. I was too upset as he did nothing to correct the situation. He said she was a good employee and unless I could get him a replacement, he had to have her! So he lost the $600 sale and my business for good!
