Been going to this place for years and never had anything to complain about until today. The selections of prepared foods are wonderful and truly delicious. The pricing is fair, considering everything is more expensive than it used to be. The staff is always attentive and helpful. I love love love love their beef jerky and even purchase it in multiple pounds at a time. It's just that amazing. Unfortunately, today wasn't their best day ever. I called 6 (SIX) times trying to find out if they had fresh beef jerky, only to be hung up on every time. I live about 90 minutes away, so I need to call ahead, as gas ain't that cheap anymore. I understand that things can get hectic, but when you're in the customer service business this kind of action is unacceptable. I wish they had an email address, so I wouldn't have to post this publicly.

It seemed that their shelves were a bit bare in places...there were very little meats and cheeses to choose from and their prices are crazy high...but the things we did find were of good quality. I was disappointed that they don't make fresh mozzarella but the brand they sell is decent, better than anything in a supermarket...but not one bit of provolone was on the shelf...the steaks were beautiful but at almost $40 a pound for a strip steak, not beautiful enough! The fish counter was practically bare, a few pieces of salmon that looked nice enough but on the whole, pretty empty. They only had 2 loaves of Italian bread left...i realize that bread doesn't last too long, though, so im assuming they sell out early. All in all a nice store that could use a bit of restocking.

I stopped in while traveling. $4 box of mesclun was old and not edible. Salmon with capers was good, but fishy (for fish) and had about 5 capers. Spent $100 in total and wish I would have found a better option. My recommendation, reduce your inventory to deliver better quality.

This place is great. I’ve read some other reviews of people crying about old food and employees not wearing masks (during the government overreach) and it’s by no surprise pathetic. Instead of crying about the food over the internet, call up or let them know when you return and I’m sure they’ll make it right. If not, then cry to google and your mother about it. Once more, the amount of 1 star reviews because of employees not wearing masks goes to show how ridiculous people can be.

This place has high-end butcher and deli. My only complaint is that they should post their closing hours as 5:15 instead of 6:00. I got here today at 5:15 and the salad bar / soups and deli were all cleaned up already.Manager said they don’t start cleaning up until 5:30, but they were early today. This would be a great “grab & go” stop on the way home from work - as long as you don’t work until 5:00. Just be honest about your hours. The fact that I can get in your building until 6:00 doesn’t do me any good if I can’t buy anything.Finally, it is really “nickel & dime” to charge a 3.5% credit card fee when you are charging $49.99 / lb. For your steaks.

So disappointing. Despite not so great experiences over the years (moldy pastries, lack of any real customer service), I continued to stop here for sandwiches on occasion. Tonight will be the last time. My husband arrived just after 5:45pm to order 3 sandwiches (they close at 6). When he attempted to place his order, the employee threw his hands up in the air and rudely asked how many sandwiches he wanted. My husband said 3 to which the employee replied "I'll make you 1" and also "We are basically closed". While I understand it was coming up on closing time, why even bother having a closing time when you are going to refuse service to a paying customer prior to that time? Save your time and spend your money elsewhere where it will actually be appreciated.

This is our usual stop to grab some good quality food and drinks as the price is premium. Grab blueberry bread and quiche then when we got home took it out of the packaging and found the blueberry was moldy and the quiche was off texture. It was Sunday. So please be careful buying on Sundays as these might be left over from the week. Very disappointed

Was really disappointed today. I went in to buy some produce and lunch items. The produce was so old. The avocados were rotten, the eggplant looked old. I did get a salad from the bar which was descent and I had the minestrone soup which was a bit salty for my taste. I used to go here several years ago and it was the best place to get fresh produce but now it's pretty bad. I will go in again to see because maybe it was an off day.

So disappointed. Potato salad wasn’t the same, very bland. Very cold cold inside. No nuts anymore. Everything is so expensive and I’m not sure why. Nothing was out and prepared. I used to come here all the time and now it’s not the same.

I wish I could write two reviews: one for the food and one for my experience with the staff. I had a catering order of a sandwich platter, hot dish, and some salads. The food was very good.Dealing with the staff was not so great. It seemed like nobody knew what they were doing: from the man who told me that they only had a couple of salads available on weekends (even though it was a catering order, and when I picked it up on a Sunday there were a LOT of salads to choose from), to the woman who mumbled sarcastically "thanks for all of that information" under her breath on the phone, rather than simply asking me to spell my name, to the people who worked behind the counter and did not know what vegan meant and could only guess if salads were vegan.I hope they are able to better train staff or hire staff that is a bit more professional, because I really liked the food.

This Market Place can be the BEST. Stopped by today to pick up the Balsamic Rosemary Chicken and Beef Stroganoff ... protein part of the diet ! SO, SO delicious !!! Add rice, pasta, potatoes, veggies whatever !!Get many meals from their generous portions !!! Not always available though...

Ordered large selection of wraps for a party.Total was close to $175.00The roast beef was so overcook you couldn’t chew it.I called after party to voice my dismay. Explaining we took the rest of the roast beef sandwiches off the platter,No call back that was promised, no apology.I have told the 40 guests at the party the result of my phone call. All agreed, will never order from here again! A simple apology would of satisfied all of us.
