A little over a year ago I went to this place I dealt with Jim. Picked out a van. Found some issues with it Jim promise to have it all ready for me. A few days later he called me and told me the truck was ready. Had my wife drop me off got into the van nothing was done to the van. They made me wait there five hours while the truck went to the mechanic down the road I got back in the van. Brakes were very low Locks weren’t working I stopped at the store down the road and got locked out of the van could not get back in. Broke back into the van and made an u turn brought the van back to them, They said the van would be fixed and left me there. I was an hour and a half away from my house, had to pay$250 for a Uber all the way back. Home No one offered to help me get back home they just close the doors and went home leaving me there waiting for an Uber for over an hour. Spoke to Jim the next day he said they would drop off the van on Saturday and they never did. At that point. I told him deal was off. Ask for my deposit back and as of today They never return my deposit. Of $2000. These people are scammers liars and thieves. Stay far and clear from this place, Michael supposedly the owner promised me my deposit after speaking to him and few weeks later called back they said deposits are not refundable. Now I have to get a lawyer. To get my refund back. Oh, and over inflated my income. To get approval from lender. Called lender and told them it wasn’t true. Update after leaving this review Gavin auto group decided to leave a review on my business when they had no dealings with my business they had two of their friends leave false reviews. All they did was add slander and defamation to my lawsuit. If you have a business, don’t shop here cause this is what they would do to you if the deal goes bad. And thank you for leaving your friends names on those reviews cause in Staten Island everybody knows everybody. Update Still haven’t gotten my refund yet 9/2/24

We purchased a 2020 Ford Transit over a month ago on 7/20/24. The check engine light on and they said they would take care of it. We never took ownership of the van. Well, it has been over one month and it is still at the shop getting repaired. We ask for our deposit back $5000.00 and we are getting the run around. I went there to ask to speak with the manger or the owner and I was told "they don't speak with anyone". I also inquired about the plates and they still don't have them! Keep in mind that our temp tags are expired. Don't buy anything from this company. Gaven Commercial takes advantage of the WORKING MAN, keeps a deposit for a van that has not been delivered therefore not being used to produce income and quite frankly full of excuses. If we could give a ZERO rating, that would be generous on our end.

Horrible experience, I bought a van there 3 months ago and it's issues after issues, it has been three times at the warranty but they cant fix it. The day that I bought the van the battery was dead and I had to wait a few hours to get it replaced. They gave me a roof rack that wasn't compatible with the van. I stay with the van for a week and I notice a couple problems like radio, back up camera, A/C wasn't working. So I try talking to the salesman Matt and he told me "I'm not a mechanic, take to the warranty" after the van was there for a week and half they told me it was ready. When I went to pick up the van they fixed the radio but the A/C was still not working and they said they couldn't do nothing. I took the van back home because I had to work in order to make the payments of the van. After a week I was at work and a loud noise was coming from the engine so I had to call the towing truck to take the van back to the warranty. That took another week, at the point I wanted to return the van and I even went in person to talk to Matt about and he said "that's not a snickers for you to return like that, and that's going to mess up your credit, you will never be able to buy something again in your life" so I just took the van back home. The license plate took more than a month and temporary plates expired and I got a ticket. After all that the power steering started to leak so once again I took the van back to the warranty and they stayed with the van for another week and told me they couldn't fix it because the part was out of stock until November. So here I am paying top dollar for a broken van. I'm a small business owner and I have to hustle very hard to make this payments so be careful guys, this people don't care about no one, after they sell you on your own.
