The price said 2.97 and I told him to put 10 dollars and only 2 and a half gallons appeared on his screen. I complained to the person who helped me because I saw that in the numbers on the regular gasoline hose it said 3.99, that's why he only put 2 and a half gallons. But I should have put on more than three gallons, I stole a gallon.

I asked for $10 reg credit and was charged $17.38 . I always double check before I pull off and the attendant was standing in the way of the meter so I couldn't see. My Amex app gives me alerts immediately following every purchase. When I mentioned the error he apologized profusely and said it's because "Friday is so crazy". I have no idea what that means because I was the ONLY customer there the whole time. I understand mistakes happen, although this was very easily avoidable . I'm more irritated that he tried to hide the situation when he could have just been upfront about it. Also annoyed because it's already in my tank what are they gonna do. I wonder if there is any incentive for sales. If it was a crazy amount I wonder what would happen . It's also annoying because it wasn't authorized and I also didn't get a receipt
